two sisters working together and the householder opens the door ever so slightly ajar , the householder apologises and says he would like to invite the pair in but its not convenient at the moment , because the door was only opened ever so slightly the sister offering the presentation could see a body levitate from the floor to the ceiling in the hallway, they made a run for it, naturally only one of the sisters saw the levitation, Dubs on meds, never a good mix!

Cart Witnesses Today - I am not impressed
by pale.emperor injust approached a cart then with two jw girls holding out mags.
they continued chatting to each other about car insurance when i took the watchtower from one of their hands.. ok, so it looks like i'll have to get the ball rolling.
i asked if they were jehovahs witness.

I saw two newbies at their cart in my local town centre recently so I thought I'd pick up a rag and engage in a brief exchange, what an utter waste of time that was, I briefly tried to engage them in a couple of subjects and knew from early on in the interaction that I was wasting my time, they were completely clueless , they were either very new to the WTS or just didn't didnt have even the basic understanding of doctrine/science/world conditions etc, I'll continue to plug away though.

they made good money and good connections.. but i'm sure jw.org made a very, very big mistake in brooklyn.
they did.. they sold and are selling all the property for money.

so if I've read this correctly they sold their property portfolio in Brooklyn for far less than they were worth? and had to keep long term freeholds because the properties were mortgaged?

not heard of him but I'm all ears sounds an interesting chap, CO's in the UK during the 1960's were definitely slightly different , would love to hear more of him, I remember Denis Ashby and Phillip North, I wonder whatever happened to them both?

the prospect of going to high school seemed ridiculous , the prospect of going out in the workplace preposterous, I grew up as not only a 1970's child but also the kid caught up in the fervour of their insanity, I'll be 51 next week, two marriages behind me, travelled the world and two wonderful kids.

2017 Sunday RC Final Talk & Comments About 1975
by baldeagle inmany of us here have commented on the deceitful friday afternoon video shown at the 2017 rc that discussed 1975.. the video attempted to shift the blame onto congregation members for the fiasco saying, "some were looking to a certain date as signifying the end of this old system of things.".
this same video mentions how, “a few even went so far as selling their homes and quitting their jobs.”.
we all know that the wt leadership created this teaching and endorsed it right up to its abject failure.. now below is the concluding talk given on sunday at the rc.
