Suffering and existence of God

many people find it difficult to reconcile suffering and existence of god.

it seems they feel that it is god’s obligation to shield humans from ill-effects of their short-sighted acts..

people’s hobby has something to do with this kind of reasoning!

I was laughing out aloud watching that,not only is the acting dreadful,in some sort of post apocalyptic world where they are living undercover in a lawless broken down society only a few feet from their front doors they are using cult like jargon and sound-bites, praying to jeehovah and looking at some scriptures wont help you from the baying mob! I question the sanity of the loons that produced this, I get a sense of the WACO siege about it.

Freemindfade, even though the message is aimed to children in our wonderfully tolerant society where great work is done for LGTD and for all members of minority groups young children should not be subjected to such judgemental condoning vitriol, I know radicalised groups from any belief system cant be seen to be condoning a homosexual lifestyle so why didn't they simply steer clear of the subject? It has caused far more damage than they could ever imagine.

i've been confronting my mother with her dubious parenting skills (abuse) of me as a child.

particularly the beatings i would get with the wooden spoon.

not a light smack but hitting me as hard as she could for as long as she could.

pretty sick vile stuff even by their standards ,force-feeding hate and homophobia to very young children. Their simplistic dumb answers to this issue leave me speechless, their stupidity seems to grow even deeper. I really do struggle to watch this utter evil persona of Caleb and Sophia's mother, this is the second vid I've watched after the Sparlock Wizard one, she comes across as deeply mentally disturbed , borderline or on the way to a full psychopath, with a narcissistic streak, probably asexual, and a victim of abuse herself, a dictator, even possibly bipolar,someone who would be classed as "wearing the trousers" in the household but strangely diametrically opposed to the meek,submissive,quiet archetypical jw housewife, a truly vile character.

What was your first public bible reading? And when?

i perfectly remember that, rehearsing with mom, trying to read with enough emphasis and in a proper tone.

i was 5 years old, back then in 1996 i think, and the portion was james 5:1-13.... i found today that i still know the first verses by heart!!!

it's actually a cherished memory for me, i came to memorize those because mom had me starting the reading all over again until i got to read it properly... and in time!!!

I was about 8 it came from Micah, hated every second of doing it, the after the next couple I would stand with my head in my hands mumbling incoherently down to the floor, needless to say I wasn't given any more.

I wonder how many palms were greased for the newbies of the new UK Branch Committee to be set in place as replacements for the "old school" a man full of hatred Ellis and the buddy of the most notorious paedophile in their history who now serves in good standing in my old congregation Michael Porter, namely Ron Drage, yet I remained shunned because I vocally disagreed with some doctrines which are now accepted as new light, unbelievable LOL!
