Special Talk from the GB?
by punkofnice ina current jw told me there was going to be a special talk (tm) from the governing body(r) next month.
apart from the usual hilarious jw tv stuff, i haven't heard of anything.. any info any one?
the jw didn't seem to know much either.

Korean News : CoC in Korean
by AntiEntropy inhi bros.. after my father's publishing his book, "15 questions after 40 years of jw" , many ex-jw bros in korea became motivated to rush to the coc korean project.
however any secular project needs a fund eventhough it's a not-for-profit.
fortunately, a bunch of bros decided to donate generously $300~$7,000 to this unprofitable business.

you would think places like in South East Asia would be a great distributing ground for CoC and other exjw material as its very unlikely there is very little of this material out there in the indigenous languages, waiting on the copyright holder is like waiting for Sasquatch to be captured, its taking an eternity to get a print run in English let alone Korean/Japanese etc, ridiculous. Fair play and well done to AntiEntropy for using lots of ingenuity and foresight to get CoC out there in Korea. -

a spouse that is fully brain doogled in and you are awake to ttatt.. without going into serious detail and no names are given.
i would like to possible talk with one of you all, it's just so helpful to communicate with someone in the same situation as me.. i am located in the southwest united states..

my ex stayed fully committed to them while I started to wake up, I had the hands over ears screaming hysterically whenever I would bring up issues of a religious nature, my waking up seemed to make her even more fanatical as well, she played up to the "poor put upon jw wife and opposing husband" and loved it, sick really. -

what do you think is the main reason why so many young ones are waking up?
by Crazyguy inseems as though the number of baptisms even for the young ones is down from what people report here.
at my former hall the young ones are all in totally sheltered even while going to school.
expressing thier desires to pioneer etc.

the irony of their embracing all things tech and its now biting them back! I always remember that idiot giving a talk somewhere about how great the WT IT dept is in protecting their members when imputing the URL of their website and the search will always direct them straight to it and bypass any opposer's sites! LOL FFS, no sir it doesn't work like that! its been long predicted that the interweb will destroy them and most religion, millions are waking up ! put that to a resolution at the KK! -

april issue, article title' moment of impact'.. i havent fiished reading it yet, but it got me thinking, how likely is it that many born in jws [ teens in particular since thats the age these issues start to appear] will end up with these problems mentioned in the article?
i know of a few adults that have this problem, schizophrenia, bi polar, ect.

an organization that takes care of it young ones? an organization that does not cover over child abuse, threaten victims with expulsion while perpetrators stay and even die in good standing for years? I would have thought there are many groups with far more exemplary records, the WTS is tainted and stained with this dirty evil seedy cloud hanging over it.
