  Apathy carts in NoCal

  i spent couple wonderful days in napa valley and sonoma with visits to san francisco.

  what hits me was the number of apathy carts in the city.

  they were at powell station, embarcadero, fisherman wharf, etc.

  l;ve been giving this some serious consideration lately.l dont have all the answers no one does.we are all entitled to our opinions.l certainly dont believe in evolution as lve researched that subject extensively.lt's important to believe in something even if its for mental health.l believe everything happens for a reason.l also believe if we all live as close to the 10 commandments as possible this world would be a far better place to live and no one can argue with that.

  believing in a malevolent deity from the bible , the moral monster to coin a phrase can and is very detrimental to good mental health the exact opposite, my advice is to forget about these fairly stories and move on in life, take up a hobby, far more satisfying

  The JW FUNERAL experience

  my best buddy is gone.

  i attended his funeral this morning.. on thursday evening, i went to the body "viewing" and it was "family only.

  " i am part of the family (through marriage) so, i was there.. i was welcomed with joy and enthusiasm like a long lost (prodigal) sheep.

  bible prophecy exploding around us! one of the most ridiculous statements I've heard for some time,when islam is the fastest and biggest growing belief system on the planet, I doubt that fulfils any biblical prophecy

  the Neturei Karta offshoot of ultra orthodox Judaism dont seem too impressed with these so called biblical prophecies and call for the state of Israel to be broken up due to the amount of blood that has been shed on its soil, the actual reverse of a prophecy could happen.

  The Christian GOD / Old Testament GOD , one and the same right? A GOD of Love ?

  and god is the same today as he was yesterday and will be the same tomorrow.. in other words he is unchangeable.. what a bloodthirsty god he was in the old testament., at his command killing old men young men women and children by the sword , a two edged sword i might add in some cases.cutting both ways.. put yourself in that situation for a minute , either as a victim or the executioner.

  can you imagine piercing some other human with a two edged sword ?

  especially if they were a child ?

  rebefighter the 2004 Asian tsunami started at the bottom of the Indian ocean and caused death and untold suffering to people many hundreds of miles away, they didn't build or settle in areas that were susceptible to a cataclysmic event like never seen before, what a daft example you gave, the 2010 Icelandic volcano spewed its ashes over many hundreds of miles into mainland Europe and beyond FFS.

  not quite 8 billion yet but their efforts of well over 100 years of advertising their crap has really yielded a pathetic return, its over 7000 hours to convert one single recruit ! 37k jw's in a country of well over a billion, probably less in China and another billion plus inhabitants, that is NOT amazing growth

  speak for yourself Lieu, 99.9% of the populations of this planet maybe even more really want to live quiet peaceful lives , the war mongers and the people that rule us are a very tiny percentage of the population, did you see the protests in the UK over the past few years against coalition action in the Middle East? you are talking about hundreds of thousands of people supporting peaceful action, we should be proud of that. Humans have devolved over hundreds of thousands of years to care, have empathy, to show charity,support,self sacrificing, that cant be said about the malevolent bloodthirsty,perverted deity found in those ancient books, the moral compass of humankind is one of awe and wonder.
