Planting seeds of doubts- What works for you?
by Cappuccino OC ini have found differences in the way to plant seeds of doubt: here are my experiences.
when speaking to jw's i found that the "un" & the child abuse cases where the jw pedophiles have been convicted and in prison works wonderful.. when speaking with non-jw's i found that speaking to them about jw pedopiles who go door to door makes them totally irate.. i've also asked them to do non-biased research on topics they are not sure.
i've told them if you are in the "trvth" you have nothing to worry about the information that you will find.. let's share what has worked for you when plating seeds of doubt?.

try to get your hands on a WT CD-rom. witnesses use it all the time, so it has the same authority to them as the normal mags.
So them the lies from your screen!!
best thing to start the conversation is saying you are interested and studied their religion with the cd-rom they might ask you how you got it, maybe you can say you got it from a friend. then move on with your conversation. say you do not understand some things point them to these inconsistencies and watch them squirm their way out!! play dumb, let them explain. they might get away with one or two but their really is an avalance of material. to much meat to chew for even the most hardened JW-veteran.
ps if you are atheist you can do the same thing with the bible! let them try to explain the numerus inconsistencies.

it is very close to wt farms.
it always amazed me that more of these accidents didn't occur as the "friends" raced to outdo each other in the building work.

by minimus inone of the first "privileges" any prospective witness has is that of being a publisher.of course, once you're a publisher,you are one for life.
so, either you are a "good" publisher or a "bad" one.
a good publisher has to get the national average,be a "good" example, and pretty much do whatever the elders ask of you.

I really hated the ministry, so I did as few hours as I could get away with at home. The ministry was the first thing I dropped when starting to have doubts. I never understood why we were going door to door like 2000 years ago while we have so much better ways of reaching people ( think: media ). they did so in the past using radio and television.

why do the jw ?
by heathen inwhy do the jw lock their publications in cabinets ?i noticed on my visits to the local cong.
that they are so anal about their publications in the congregations that they have locks on their cabinets where they keep the magazines and bibles .
i can't help but wonder if they are worried about the publishers helping themselves .well ,i'm open to any explainations.

YES!
look at what jehu did at jizreel in God`s name. since Jehu is considered a Hero by most JW`s it would only take some 'new licht' to encourage them to do likewise. i do think however that it will lead to great numbers of new apostates.

Why the Memorial?

I personally think that many go once a year to remind themselves why they left. after attending they are going home with a feeling of confirmation; they were right in their choice to leave.
like...tasting something you know tastes awful just to remind yourself why you dislike it so much.

I like to add one:
THRUTH can stand any criticism and lie. So what is there to fear for putting the TRUTH to the test?
If the JW`s really have the THRUTH then such a test would strenthen their case. Only people that lie or distort their message (like propagandists) shun criticism, honest people encourage it. that`s why scientists encourage criticism: it helps uncover thruths. the bible actually encourages scrutiny and careful research before believing even apostels (think: bereans). Didn`t Jehovah put Satan`s words to the test or did he ignore it?
