I've discovered that most of us became smart in our middle 40's some before that and some after. But I think there is something about being in your 40's that makes you wake up to what your life has become and where you are going to go with it. Will things remain the same or is it time to make changes while there is still time to enjoy life.Do any here feel that way?

The DEMONS broke her leg! Too funny or maybe sad!?
by QuestioningEverything inmy mom told me about a sister in her hall that came in on crutches to the meeting sunday.
my mom asked her what happened and she said that thursday night when she was on her way out the door to the kh, that two demons attacked her.
they knocked her to the ground and one held her down while the other one jumped on her leg and broke it .

WT on "Help those who stray from the flock"? - friends sent us an email
by truthseeker intoday was the first of the two parter series on browbeating the inactive to get back to the meetings.. my other half who has been inactive for a short while received an email from a "friend" who's still in, acknowledging it's been a while since they last made contact and could they stop by to see how we're doing?.
the moment of truth - friends who ignore you and make no effort to contact you when you leave suddenly get a guilt trip over an article in the watchtower.. anyone else here had their door bell rung, received a phone call or email from a "concerned" friend due to this study article, or is it still early days?.

Did you Hate Being Called Brother ( last name ) Or use People's First Name?

i hated being called brother ( last name ) by people i knew for 10, 20, or 30 years !
it was so impersonal i felt.

I had'nt thought about this in a long time, but I really did'nt like being called sister when being called on. I really can't explain why.
I felt better being called by my first name but that was never done at the meetings except maybe at the bookstudy.
