  What happened to Tamolive, she seemed to disappear ;-) Your comments back to her were really good. You are Not the coward she was. Her/him JW comments were the usual brainwashed watchtower same old that they all repeat.

  did nothing? if they did nothing then why did you DELETE the other comment I put up with the link to the article showing what actually WAS done? Why would you even allow comments if you want them all to be one sided? Because your a COWARD and you'll prob delete this one too

  hi guys,i appreciate the welcome you extended my little sister(firefox).ive been out for 10+ years but still like reinforcing my lack of faith in all that is dub related..... .

  i havent heard from my sister in a few days,im a bit worried shes getting pressure about her research.so hopefully shes still reading....

  Diabetes, MS, or other?

  other than weighing around 250 lbs.

  and eating out a lot every week, i have no health problems, i've never been to the hospital, and i hope to stay that way.. ok, so in dec. or jan. i got food poisoning for the first time 'cause i wasn't watching what i was eating and i ate the skin, or scales, whatever, of some fish.. i was ok in a couple of days, although i had a headache for one day.. in feb., i got food poisoning again.

  I have MS just got diagnosed. It does not usually come on the way you describe. YOU need to see a doctor, so you can find out what is wrong. So many symptoms seem like many things. I was told I might diabetes and it ended up being MS. I was begging for an answer to what was wrong with me for 2 years before I got an answer. Also MS strikes men and women but more women. It is more common in the Northern hemisphere and it usually strikes people in their 20's or 30's

  I have done the research. I am unusual I got it later in life.

  I hope you are ok and it may be nothing so just go get checked out and prevent something that could get out of hand.

  J.W's Forbidden To Use The Word "Lucky"

  on another thread, a poster alluded to the witness prohibition on uttering the word "lucky," as the word "lucky" is associated with dreaded paganism.

  as i recall, instead of saying "lucky", witnesses are "counseled" to employ the term forunate.

  the problem is this - the roman goddess of good luck was named fortuna; her greek equivalent was named tyche.

  I remember back in the 60's when it came out that we couldn't say sland words like dime or nickel. we had to say 10 cents or 5 cents. Now that I think of it, it sounds so stupid and controlling. Who cares and how petty to nit pick about little words when the important thing is love of God and your family and friends.

  How many were strongarmed by elders over inheritance, etc?

  on another thread, i saw how elders were after someone for money as soon as someone died in their family, more than once.

  this happened to my mom for years after my dad died, insurance settlements, lawsuit settlements, they wanted as much as they could possibly squeeze from a widow with three kids.

  anyone else see this?

  My Mom got cancer in 2005 and in February the elders interfered with the will. Everything was left to me her only child and my 4 children originally. In February 2006 she was diagnosed with terminal cancer with 6 months to live. The Elders encouraged her to change her will she told me. Next thing you know the Watchtower got 1/3 of her money the congregation got 1/3 and my 4 children had to share 1/3 of the money. this was out of over $100,000 cash, bonds etc that she was supposed to leave to my children. She had brain cancer and I think she got confused and let them convince her that they needed it more than her unbelieving grandchildren. I was just sick about it but you can't fight the Watchtower

  i also wrote a long post about the sept km but i haven't finished and it's not current any more anyway.

  Sharing my sad news with you

  my great nephew, 8 months old, was killed yesterday.

  so far appears to have been murdered by his sitter, a couple with whom my nephew and his girlfriend have been living.

  they beat and drowned this little baby.

  I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Nephew. It is the saddest thing to hear about a baby losing its life and even worse when its under such tragic circumstances. My thoughts are with you.

  It must be very hurtful that your Father would say such a thing to you about attending the Memorial and when you didn't agree he hung up on you. If only he could see how unloving that is. Death seems to have no impact on the JW's other than to say that they died with or without a Hope of the New System.
