When Are Rude Gestures And Warrior Wizards Acceptable For Jehovah's Witnesses?

for example, in an effort to warn their members about warriors, wizards and warrior wizards (just in case someone decided to mix the two types of abomination), they made a video about a child playing with a warrior wizard to show why it is wrong to play with warrior wizards or watch videos that contain them.. now they have made videos for the deaf that warn of the dangers of masturbation (and even oral and anal sex) by graphically and enthusiastically stimulating (i guess that should be simulating) the very acts that they are condemning.. is it any wonder that the watchtower society is being accused of sending mixed signals?.
normally, graphically simulating sexual acts would get a witness in trouble.

Is it any wonder that the Watchtower Society is being accused of sending mixed signals?
Normally, graphically simulating sexual acts would get a Witness in trouble. However, they have made videos doing that and placed them on their official and newly redesigned website. Is it OK because it is done with the intention of discouraging the behavior? Is it also OK to invent fictious "evil" characters like Sparlock the Warrior Wizard and put him in a video that makes him famous and results in his appearance on t-shirts and other merchandise as long as there is some kind of message that warrior wizards are bad. If so, is Ghost Busters an appropriate movie for Christians because the ghosts get busted?
Would masturbation be acceptable if a doctor recommended it to prevent cancer, improve immunity or boost mood?

Interesting series on YouTube by AnonDude2
by Listener ini came across a series of youtube videos presented by an ex jw and thought the story he has to tell and the videos he presents are amazing.. the young man is only 19 years old, he was baptized at the age of 14. he has made over 150 videos.
many of his initial videos takes the viewer step by step through his judicial committees.
there is over 4 hours of taped video of the proceedings and he provides his own commentary after each 15 minute taping.. ethan was eventually disfellowhipped for three reasons.

johns hopkins scientists have developed a reliable method to turn the clock back on blood cells, restoring them to a primitive stem cell state from which they can then develop into any other type of cell in the body.. the work, described in the aug. 8 issue of the journal public library of science (plos), is chapter two in an ongoing effort to efficiently and consistently convert adult blood cells into stem cells that are highly qualified for clinical and research use in place of human embryonic stem cells, says elias zambidis, m.d., ph.d., assistant professor of oncology and pediatrics at the johns hopkins institute for cell engineering and the kimmel cancer center.. taking a cell from an adult and converting it all the way back to the way it was when that person was a 6-day-old embryo creates a completely new biology toward our understanding of how cells age and what happens when things go wrong, as in cancer development, zambidis says.. chapter one, zambidis says, was work described last spring in plos one in which zambidis and colleagues recounted the use of this successful method of safely transforming adult blood cells into heart cells.

Sparlockgate - the YouTube copyright clampdown continues!
by cedars inyou may remember some time ago i released a song entitled "sparlock we love you" on youtube.. the song was a parody of the "become jehovah's friend" dvd, and became very popular - with well over 10,000 views last time i checked.. i did consider the possibility that the society would complain on grounds of copyright infringement, because i used some specially-altered versions of images on the dvd, such as the one below.... .
however, i shrugged this off, because i thought even the society wouldn't be as petty as to publically complain about the way the images were used.. nevertheless, they did.
today i got the following email.... dear john cedars,we have disabled the following material as a result of a third-party notification from watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvanias, claiming that this material is infringing:.

It's a shame that a corporation like the Watchtower Society can use DMCA complaints to infringe on the free speech rights of its critics. If someone objects, they will get their name and address and can persecute them even more. Abusing this process could expose them to legal liability if they ever pick on the wrong person. In the meantime, there is the court of public opinion. At least they are being exposed for the hypocritical bullies that they are.

I thought I would update this by posting a link to the discussion about videos that are critical of the Watchtower Society being removed from YouTube.
I know that Internet censorship is something that Anonymous is very concerned about, so this issue might capture their attention.

Thanks, I was trying to figure out how to post here.
I was hoping the Watchtower Society would do something dumb like this. Their earlier round of takedowns really backfired when it just brought more attention to Sparlock and resulted in even more videos being posted. Members of Anonymous may also find this interesting. I remember when their actions against Scientology were partly prompted by Scientology trying to take down that infamous Tom Cruise video.
