ive been to hospital and had a biopsy taken from a lump in my breast today
by looloo ini was expecting to just get examined then told it was nothing to worry about but i also had a mamogram , then scan .
the lump i was worried about was ok but the scanner found one behind it that she was not sure about , she took a biopsy from it after i had a local anesthetic and sent me back to the doctor who told me i would now have to wait a week for those results !
when i had arrived i was told i would be told today if everything is ok !

lol, thats funny , i had never had a mamogram before , it was nasty , she said it was because i still had firm breasts and it wont hurt so much when i get oplder because they will be saggy !!!!

Update: part 2, elder's counsel to mom to quit "bad association"
by Coffee House Girl inwell because i knew the questions would be the same on saturday as they were friday i was even more prepared.
my mom has this pattern of repeating the same questions over and over again...she will leave it for a few hours & then she will cycle them over again, but then ask more detail.. so saturday she calls me before i leave for home and now she is backpedalling her story.
she tells me that the elder's never said that they were going to disfellowship me, they just were counseling her that she should no longer be associating with me because i am bad association and have been seen with "him" (again with the him) and that his car has been seen parked there all the time.

7th Day Adventists came to my house... it was weird
by sabastious inso i get a knock on the door and a minister from a local 7th day adventists is at my doorstep.
it felt very much like a witness.
he asked me about my life and how things were going and if i was a christian.. i explained to him that i gave up christianity a while back and he asked why.

there was one in my home town who looked like a tramp and would stand in the town centre with a billboard announcing the end of the world ! i often wondered what witnesses made of him ! they probably thought he was bonkers !!!! lol

How many registered sex offenders in territory
by just n from bethel ini just had a thought.
is there any provision for service overseers/territory servants to keep the territories updated with registered sex offenders?
i'm not talking about jws that are registered and attending - i'm referring to all the sex offenders registered in the congregation territory.

i knew someone who used to call on a old man with the mags with his elder dad , when he got disfellowshipped when he was 17 he walked past this mans house who persuaded him inside , he then tried to offer him money and "mucky mags " , because he was very naieve he did not realise how dodgy this was ! i eventually heard the old man often gave young lads money in exchange for sexual favours ! jws think its a protection growing up in that religion but being too gulible is no protection !

jehovahs witnesses giving a "bad witness "
by looloo ini was talking to a workmate yesterday about my jw experiance and my daughters abuse , she told me that she works as a counsellor and had been discussing jws with a colleage , this person had given counselling to a jw woman who was a victim of domestic violence by her jw husband , the elders had done nothing to help the woman and simply told her to stop moaning about it !
the counseller was disgusted that in this day and age women are still treated like that !
the jw lady eventually left her husband , took the children with her and got disfellowshipped !!!!

Children of adult ex-jw's
by man in black inmy wife and i were both jw's for the past 28 years.
we left two years ago, we wrote our da letters and split.. my wife felt very contained, there was no room to grow.
i started to fade slowly, but when my mom died, i saw the complete lack of love from the brothers and that sealed the deal for me.. we have two sons, 22 and 26, who we raised as witnesses, not the die hard type, just try and do your best.

my son and daughter were invoved as small children as i was a study , my now 19 year old son is a med student with buddhist views on life and the only bitterness he shows to the org is the way his little sister is not bothered with by her jw relatives ! my eldest girl however was greatly affected by the jw experiance , listening to doom and gloom at meetings and the destruction of her worldly relatives etc as well as missing christmas after being used to celebrating it and being odd one out at school ! then of course her abuse by the ex min servant and lack of compassion shown by most ! she has buddhist views also and has a lot of compassion for hurting people but wants to believe in god but feels uncertain of his exsistance !
