i have only known one , who talked more about the "wicked system" and satan and how immoral worldlys are etc than the jws i knew who were still "in" and he ended up abusing my daughter ! still never gone back 14 years after being disfellowshipped , some local dubs take that to mean jehovah didnt want him back till his abusive past (as a jw ) had been found out ! do you know someone very hypocritical ?

did anyone ever catch a jw kid doing something he shouldnt ?
by looloo ini was walking down my street one day while being a"study " and heard some kids on bikes coming up behind me using every swear word there is aiming it at eachother , but not in anger , i turned round and was really shocked to see it wasthe two sons of an elder who lived near me ,and one of these boys was considered a "fine example " to other young ones .
because i felt "trapped " by the jws (my kids would die if i didnt stay with them !
) i moaned to my pioneer friend about not seeing the point of being a jw if the kids are just the same as "worldly" kids who they are not supposed to mix with and look down on.

My experience with the JW's and more...I'll try to make it short.
by ConnieD29 inwell i guess the thing to do here is to kinda tell your story so that is what i'm going to attempt to here.
even though it makes me a bit nervous.. my experience with the jehovah's witnesses was short compared to lots of people here.
i was only involved for about 3 yrs.

by looloo inor is there such a thing as a private one and one that is announced to the congregation and who decides what action to take and why , i think my daughters abuser had a private one years before he abused her and yet many in the congregation did seem to know he was "dodgy" elders warned their daughters about him it seems , just didnt warn other peoples daughters !

crb clearence will not keep children safe
by looloo inthere is so much talk on the news at the moment about people who workwith children or have access to children on a regular basis having crb clearence , i think this lulls parents into a false sense of security , i once saw a documentry on this subject and the policeman interviewed was saying that parents should not be concerning themselves so much with the registered sex offenders , but the 9 out of 10 offenders who were arrested but there was not enough evidence to secure a conviction so charges were dropped and also sex offenders are usually your family members and "friends" not a stranger on the sex offenders register anyway .
my childs abuser would have had a crb clearence while being a taxi driver at the same time as raping children for 20 years , it just meant he hadnt been caught yet ,not that he was trustwourthy .
holly wells and jessica chapman were murdered by ian huntley in 2002 , he had been reported on numerous occasions for underage sex and sexual assaults on young girls but got away with it every time (i dont think he even made it to court ) leaving him free to get a caretakers job at holly and jessicas school (they were 10 ,when he killed them ) he came across as a very "nice" man when he was interviewed on the news during the search for the girls !

when you were "in" and ignored disfellowshipped did you ever think "im not in a position to judge anyone " ?.
