  The scandalous effect of JW childrens literature. Why not investigated?

  i can only imagine that in some jw children, the effect of the lessons taught and visual 'illustrations' can be mentally destructive.

  some of the pictures in relation to armageddon are imo 'too much' for a small developing child to take.

  it surprises me that the authorities have not investigated and put a stop to this form of mental abuse in children.

  west palm beach, fla. - an epic drought in georgia threatens the water supply for millions.

  florida doesn't have nearly enough water for its expected population boom.

  Building Inspector Here...Why can't we study the Foundation?

  that sept km discouraging doing research except by wt lit.

  is still on my mind.

  most dubs have the cd for research at most and that stops at 1950. i they wanted to study the foundation of jw on something they would be limited to the proclaimers book and that only gives little snippets of the past.

  Well the website is not maintained or under the supervision of the WTBS, www.ctrussell.us, has a nice collection of Zion's Watch Tower from 1879 to 1916 online for all the world to read.

  I figure this is okay seeing how the Jan 15 WT claims them as their publications and not that of the Bible Students. What a read.

  Dad refuses blood...

  i sit here in shock because i just found out that my father, far away in hawaii, has been in the hospital since monday.

  he has an abdominal aortic aneurysm.

  this means he could die should the aorta ruputre (and it is threatening to do so).

  Here are some ideas

  Have your Dad speak to NY (under contacts at jw-media.org) . I recently had a Sister ask about blood issues, and she was told that the official reponse is all medical blood is a "matter of conscience"

  Have a doctor/nurse explain that he has already been transfused via his IV. Nurses look for a "flash" of blood to know that they are in the vein, the blood is pushed back into the patient (transfused) when administering IV solution.

  Ask about Acute normovolemic hemodilution

  noblood.org has some suggestions

  If all else fail contact HLC and demand they full explain all the allowances, make them do their job and seek ways to save your Dad!

  do the witnesses want to be the penultimate martyrs ?

  Could field service turn into an "enemy" of the WBTS?

  i've seen it time and time again really lovely sister marry total dork..

  This is what I had to choose from:

  Brother A: stole a car, later stole 20,000 dollars from old lady. Jail.

  Brother B: Best friends with known drug users, had his locker searched weekly by Vice Principal.

  Brother C: Already involved with other Sister, now married to each other

  Brother D: Stopped going awhile back, lived in "rival" football town.

  Brother E: Younger then me, I would walk all over him.

  Brother F: Old enough to make my mom say NO, immediately!

  Brother Unknown from Assembly: Not allowed to leave my seat at assembly, bathroom breaks are timed, so no social contacts were made.

  Final Decision: Awesomely handsome, Southern Baptist blind rodeo date.

  Needless to say I was denied a KH wedding.
