  to make friends since you're out of the organization?

  maybe these things take time.

  it's hard to establish new friendships when ones i had for years floated away in an instant.

  We are/ were not part of the world. The world is permitted friendship. Unless you join another religion that has many "social" activities and groups, it is a long journey ahead.

  Funny I have never in my entire life had a JW close or best friend and I was raised JW. I have had and still have many "daily acqaintances". I think it is part of the conditions that we endure in the "be not" rhetoric, the fact that friends snitch to elders, and that worldly associations are frowned, if not forbidden. Besides who had time for friendship when there was all that reading. Were any of you EX-JWs, really friends with your co-KH members or just FS buddies? A means to an end.

  I also have to take responsibility too, I like my space and letting people in is scary because as a JW or Ex-Jw that means you are different, there may be rejection or judgment.

  JWs Do NOT Care About Getting Converts. They Really Don't!

  if jws really cared about making disciples they would never use outdated ways to get their "lifesaving message" across.

  knocking on doors, knowing that most people aren't at home, is simply a waste of time.

  driving around from one part of town to the other side in order to stretch your time, while doing return visits is simply a way to not reach people as quickly as possible.

  I agree, we in the Northern Hemisphere are pretty tapped out as far as reaching someone who is not going to just debate or check out our creds on the internet and dismiss us. I think you can only teach the sky is falling for so long, if the sky doesn't fall.

  I am bringing this to the KH this morning for "discussion time" with the Elders, since my big mouth didn't know the "light" was suppose to stay un-lit until January. Oh well, not like they can do anything to me.

  Is Eve automatically resurrected?

  15however, she will be kept safe through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and sanctification along with soundness of mind.. so how do yall interpretate this scripture?.

  is it saying that it was eve's fault, that adam was not deceived.

  Did yall ever realize that she wasn't called Eve until after the garden.

  How long was she there before all of the "fruit" business began.

  Since JWs do not believe in evolution she would have had to be on a 28-32 cycle. And it is thought that usually ovulation occurs sometimes during the second week ( varies women to women).

  MM let me see, she wasn't there long enough to acquire a first name, nor there long enough to get pregnant........

  Ballpark guess, she wasn't in the garden for more then 2 weeks maybe less.

  I wonder how this figures in too?

  You have less ear hair too, so your hearing is even further impaired. Turns out you can't really hear her soft spoken voice all the time.

  This explains why I go into "Drill Sargent" mode when I really want something done. Works everytime, I guess I missed my calling in the military

  So how do yall interpretate this scripture?

  Is it saying that it was Eve's fault, that Adam was not deceived. Is Eve kept safe through childbearing if she and Adam continue in faith & love & sanctifcation? (by continuing in faith,love & sanctity, wouldn't this show repentance, would Jehovah forgive them seeing their devotion to his command. Wouldn't they be candidates for resurrection?)

  OR

  Is it saying , Eve was totally duped, but Adam knew that the fruit shouldn't be eaten, that the serpent was lying and made a deliberate choice to disobey. That she will be kept "safe" through childbearing, provided the children born to her continue in faith & love & sanctification? ( so do women who raise children who love Jah, have faith in Jesus, and live good "christian" lives get an automatic pass to resurrection, to be kept "safe" ( this also would include Eve, since she is the mother of all)

  I think that women are capable of leading a congregation.

  Being a fundamentalist, I would not choose to do so. Rather I believe too that Adam was not deceived, so I will happily sit back as a daughter of Eve, raise my children to love Jehovah and Jesus.

  I do find it funny that Jehovah created the male brain with 1 set of receptors for the right and left side to communicate, but created women with 3 sets. At least he has a sense of humor!

  Help needed desperately !!!!!

  hi,i have just registered here because i need someone to talk to in a way that wont end me up before a jc.i have been reading a lot of stuff recently about the wts being false prophets and the like.i also hate the fact that there are so called "spiritual" men out there who abuse their positions to molest children.i have been a witness now for 20yrs but instead of feeling spiritually alive i feel totally and utterly confused.i do not know which way to turn.anyone out there who feels the same ?

  share your thoughts with me ..please and help me unburden myself to someone.
