That was fun, and the results don't surprise me. Notice which religion is at the bottom of the list:
The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.
Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.
How did the Belief-O-Matic do? Discuss your results on our message boards.

considering the fact we've had so many newbies here i thought it would be good to just open it up to you folks to see how life is going for you since you exited the witnesses ?
it's hard many times to move on- however with lots of ex-witnesses on the board here who have been through similar experiences - perhaps those of us who have been out awhile can give you someideas on how to move on in your post jw life to make it a little easier .
so fire away newbies and recently exited jw 's.
5th generation, were you happy when you were "in"?

Four years and counting... Doing well, thank you very much!
More at peace with myself. More in tune with my husband. Closer to my kids, even though one is still "in" because of spouse. More understanding of others w/o the "us vs. them" JW mentality. More time on my hands for going back ro college.
Still trying to find open minded friends in a conservative town...
Life is good! :)
...is going to get his punched out.
yes, friends, this is another thread about the latest generation teaching.
so, if you're sick to death of it, leave now, save yourselves.... anyhoo... as the wts has now unleashed on the world the true explanation of generation and what it means for those of us in this time of the end, dubs who accept without question this teaching are 'oohing' and 'ahhing' as the new explanation 'makes so much sense now'.
I'm with ya, undercover! :)
approximately five weeks ago, i visited the local library and searched every book i could find that discusses the destruction of jerusalem in ancient times.
if you didn't see that thread, you can find it here: http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/192813/1/607-b-c-e-a-trip-to-the-local-library-with-pictures.
the results were conclusive: all secular sources agree that jerusalem was destroyed in 587/586 bce.
How this interesting and important thread got soooo derailed, and how the focus went from the original intent to indulging a lunatic is sad and funny at the same time...

LOL. undercover! My brain totally ignored thr NASCAR sermon... I did listen to a couple others and thought the guy rambled a bit, but made a modicum of sense. All very non-judgmental and not at all preachy, just thoughts to make you go hmmm...
I did think, as some mentioned, that it should be a philosophy rather than a religion... maybe if I go I'll ask them about that...
Poppers, what you described sounds like what I imaginie it as being...
Thank you all for your comments... :)
