  I've been just about every state except kansas, north dakota, alaska, and hawaii. I remember Kentucky distinctly. There was a Neurosis concert going on in one of the clubs as i was passing through...wait..no...I went to kentucky specifically for the concert. I got dressed up and ready and went to the concert. When I got in line for the tickets...the security guard stopped me and said 'how old are you?' I said "17" He said "This is an 18 and over concert ONLY." Just as he said this, about a group of young teenage girls around 14-15 walked behind him. I was furious I asked 'WHY is it an 18 an older concert only?' He replied, "Because they sell alcohol here."

  WHAT THE HELL? What kind of answer is that?

  I really would like to make a very huge contrabution to this post...some words of insight and wisdom, but nope. I have no money to spend...seriously. Not because i don't work or ...don't have money coming in...but mainly because the business generates the money and transferrs it into a bank account that isn't under my name. Lets see, today i barely had something worth 1.39 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And the only way i got that is because I found some change!

  my sister...... is a psycho!!!!.

  she's "in feild service" sending out letters to people that didn't answer at the door.

  (which is already a little too much) she dressed up in her meeting cloths, head to foot, in order to be presentable while she is writing those letters.

  What Got You Out of the Borg?

  What really got me out?
  

  When I came to the realization that 1 thess 4:17 was being ignored by the society, I started slipping away. But what offically caused me to have a nervious break down and panic attack was when I read Crisis of Conscience. I was taking a bath and reading the book when it just...clicked. I had a major anxiety attack and panic attack followed.

  Like most people I had the similar feelings and thoughts: What do I do now? What can I do? What if i'm wrong? What if I make this decision and regret it? What if I die? I felt very lost and confused and betrayed.

  Career advancement and the Borg

  it occurred to me that there a lot of activities at work that as a dub you would refrain from participating.

  not just holiday celebrations, but also chartiy events outings on saturday or even just going out for drinks after work with the boss and your collegues.. because of these things do you think your career was adversely affected and have you began to partake in these activities after you left the borg?

  Well my career's my business, my boss is my girlfriend, and the charity is the books i sell!...well that worked out great. ~FiveShadows

  does anyone have a copy of Crisis of Conscience they don't want? I have a business of selling books and come across tons and tons of books on a weekly basis. However, I can never find crisis of conscience. I really would like a copy of my own. Because I just moved into a new apartment my budget is extremely tight (you should see my "brand new" empty fridge). I will be willing to trade books if anyone is interested.

  Did the movie Matrix remind you of the Borg

  i am going to rewatch the movie matrix, because a member of this board said that it reminded him of the watchtower, and how it showed the wt to be a controlling entity that brainwashed its meek followers while others saw through the facade and fought against it.. the movie stigmata, about the catholic church, reminded me of the watchtower also...... maybe jehovah is using movies to speak to us, especially through r rated movies that they so warned us against..(or maybe i'm a fruitcake).

  my friend elumn8 and i are watching a bunch of r rated movies now that we broke away, and we think we are learning something!
