What the hell????? I took the test three times to try to come up with a different personality. The numbers changed a bit, but the letters were the same.

lola, you may not feel you have no right to complain, but among friends you should be able to if you want. Complaining and blaming are two different things. I haven't read anything on this thread that leads me to think the ones complaining are not owning their situation.

Seems like in the US you should be able to be a student with a family, as long as you are willing to work hard and be poor. It is this kind of "hard times" that must be endured to get you to the life you want. I personally don't mind hearing complaints about how hard it is.
If you want to attack someone who is sitting on his couch drunk and not willing to do anything to better himself, I would understand.
I am glad for those of you that have no financial problems. All because of your perfect money management skills. Good for you.

i'm doing my psychology assignment tonight and i had to do a report on these questions.. consider a person that you have strong negative feelings about:.
if you found out you were wrong, would you be willing to change the opinion you have held?.
would you be willing to make an effort to change the basic relationship?.
My opinion is that a person can show true empathy only if they have actually faced the same situation as another. Anything else is an ersatz empathy.
I believe that some more than others have the ability to show true empathy to another even though they haven't been in the same situation. Those are the ones that are able to direct their lives to the service of others.
For most of us, I agree. That is why I come here. For ex jw empathy.

I agree, compassion is the next level. The motivation from empathy. Still, with someone you dislike, it takes effort and focus.
