STUCKINARUT- You & your wife are handling this well. It's a tough situation no matter how you slice it - many of us are experiencing this shunning as well from JW family and there's no telling what's been said about me these last 15 years since I've been out of the JW cult. I feel for you both. But you just never know. One or more of our JW relatives may flip someday and escape the mind control and evil treatment by the WT Society- then like you & your wife are doing as many of us do- we will be there to assist exiting JW family when and if they escape to freedom. It's a good attitude to have as I know personally how lonely it was when I exited. Only my mom and my adult son out of all my family supported my decision. Receiving so much hate recently....
by stuckinarut2 inwell, as you all know, my wife (unstuck) and i are not df or da.. we just stopped attending several years back after my "apostate" online activity was found by a nosey employee of ours while she was working in our office (long story if anyone wants to know - it would have to be another thread).
we never met with any elders - no congregation judicial activity occurred (as we would never consent to do so anyway).
so our policy has been to be the same kind, loving, normal people we have always been.

for example, practices of ousting or shunning members who have dissenting views, a blanket refusal to participate in politics and government as well as not celebrating christmas or birthdays are all things that the special will reportedly cover.
additionally, the religion has predicted the literal end of the world several times, obviously to no avail.. .

i think it's worse that the bunker video.. i used to think there was no way that these people would actually "drink the cool aid" if you get my drift, but seeing this video i am now not sure it could never happen.. having a wife who i love dearly trapped in this cult is really freaking me out right now...

Exacty , great point. What was the scripture they used to reference all the time in Revelation about a " great crowd of people out of all nations and tongues...... etc. " allegedly surviving this final " destruction " at an alleged " Armageddon " . Seems WT will use any marketing ploy ( like showing few survivors ) just to instill FEAR into it's JW members. Even IF it goes contrary to their Biblical beliefs . WT leaders would rather scare the hell out of JW's to keep them submissive & obedient than actually stick to any script from the Bible ( Think : Pushing the overlapping two generation theories instead of sticking with Jesus remarks about " this generation "( singular ) will by no means pass away . )
It shows how WT leaders have been pulling doctrines out of their ass for years slinging them up on the chalkboard to make them stick. And all of their beliefs are running down off the chalkboard now into an unidentifiable goo on the floor. It's ridiculous how far they try to stretch

This video is almost childlike in it's ignorance and fantasy. How in the hell is an arrow shot from Jesus in heaven supposed to defeat militia and their military guns ? SLIMBOYFAT & LONDO111- Jaracz WAS removed from his position as branch overseer in Australia and replaced by Lloyd Barry - the same Lloyd Barry that later made sure the child abuse articles were printed in the Awake magazine in the early 1990's - much to Ted Jaracz's chagrin and anger. From what I was told by a reliable source who I promised I'd keep their identity confidential - there was moral flaws that Jaracz had committed that led to his removal from his position. And it seems according to Londo 111 we have Knorr to thank ( or is it to blame ) for allowing Ted Jaracz to get back in the traveling work if he "got married " . Hmm. Wonder why Knorr wanted Jaracz to " get married " ? So he wouldn't commit any more " moral flaws " ?
And I can verify he was back in the traveling work as a District Overseer in California in the late 1960's as he stayed at our house due to my elder dad being the city overseer in our town. So there's some verifiable evidence he was a District Overseer in California in about 1969 & 1970

DUBSTEPPED- I totally agree with you. I have been treated unfairly and inhumanely from my JW relatives as well as has my adult EX-JW son, we have lived it and experienced it personally. As have thousands of people on this board ! I agree with every single word in your last post. What a sad day for humanity when these JW relatives of Lauren Stuart show such calloused and barbaric behavior towards the deaths of their natural relatives. You see this same callousness at JW funerals as well because they think their dead relatives will be back . They do not know what real human mourning, sadness and empathy are. Another thing that is pretty solid evidence against Ted Jaracz and his enabling of child molesters ; or quite possibly enabling his own crimes - is that initially in the early 1990's when the WT Society writing committee was working on putting out Awake magazine articles about child abuse - Lloyd Barry was the head of the writing department and Ted Jaracz head of the service department, I believe. Both were GB members at the time.
I was told by a reliable source in Bethel and I'm pretty sure this may have been in either Dogpatch or Barbara Anderson's writings - I remember reading it- that Ted Jaracz was furious that Lloyd Barry was committed to putting articles out in the Awake magazine to address child molesters and the danger to children. Jaracz and Lloyd Barry got into very heated discussions and arguments about printing those articles - and finally Lloyd Barry prevailed and the articles were printed.
So the question begs : What was the reason Jaracz was so aggressive in his not wanting articles about protecting children from child abuse to be printed ? I mean- how weird is that ? Unless he had something to hide. He was also very dismissive in an interview about WT child abuse with an England reporter after he gave a discourse there years ago. So this is just another aspect of this story that deserves some consideration. Another very tragic shooting incident where innocent teenagers lives are snuffed out and their families lives destroyed. There are no easy solutions. Yes, I agree that every high school in America should have at least one armed policeman or guard there at the ready for these types of situations. I agree in responsible gun protection and responsible gun ownership.
But until the United States congress passes responsible gun legislation and congressmen stop accepting blood money from organizations like the NRA to help finance their re-elections to congress ; accepting the money will take priority over teenagers or young kids getting murdered in schools. Quite possibly until this country has a majority of Democrats in the House of Representatives & Congress - responsible gun legislation will not be passed. That's just reality.
True, there are some Democratic senators that accept money from the NRA as well, however not near as many as the Republican party. So- stricter gun legislation laws have to be passed so that mentally deranged killers , minors, adults, whomever have stricter background checks and perhaps penalties handed down to gun shop owners who still will sell to any Tom, Dick, or Harry that have criminal records OR mental health records indicating instability.
And it would be nice to see the military and the federal government cooperate in releasing records of criminal or unstable shooters background as well. The FBI dropped the ball on the Florida shooter ; and the U.S. military dropped the ball on the creep that shot up the church in Texas last year as well. The military failed to release his criminal records to Texas local police, so they didn't know he was even on the radar. There has to be better communication between police authorities, schools, mental health organizations - everybody - before these types of gross killings get corrected, or at least minimized. There is PLENTY of blame to go around where many different entities have dropped the ball and been irresponsible. Including parents in their own homes who protect such mentally deranged brats from ever receiving needed mental help. Parents should be held accountable as well if they fail to give their minor children that needed help.
O.K. That about covers it. Bring your slings & arrows, I can handle it. Did I miss anything ? Let me know, I have an open mind. I agree- it's not the guns fault, it's just all the idiots that aren't responsible in dealing with all the cracks in the cement in our society that allow these killings to escalate.
