  Royal Commission needs to call GB to personally testify

  the gb needs to be subpenaed to testify just like losch was.

  the commission needs to subpena each one individually and make separate fines when each one refuses.

  I agree- the GB needs to be pulled and extricated from their freaking guilded cage in New York and hogtied to Australia to testify. They're so ADEPT at sticking their own foot in their own mouths it would be a riot to watch. Get Lett, Morris the third, and Losch over there - I bet it would get a million hits on google in a heartbeat- then access to WT child abuse information would REALLY get popping ! Bastards

  i felt it might be a good idea to post this so that sitting on the fence jw's or jw lurkers can see that this australia jw child abuse news of 1,006 jw child molesters not being reported to police by elders is a reality that has hit mainstream news media.

  I also wanted to mention - even just the fact that two of these JW child abuse victims in the CNN report wanted to commit suicide AFTER they were harshly dealt with by a WT appointed judicial committee of elders- should tell the world and the WT leaders that their tactics are faulty at best, criminal at worst

  Wanted to bump this thread up from 4 days ago as I've been quite busy so I finally caught back up with it today. Thanks for your replies ! Good thoughts.

  ORPHAN CROW- I agree with you. I think the commission officials see fully that JW child abuse victims ARE intimidated to come forward with accusations against pedophiles because of the harsh interrogation process. It's inhumane how victims are treated by WT appointed elders. I hope this commission FORCES the WT Society to change their policies- but I'm not holding my breath- WT leaders usually don't give in very easy- if ever. Very arrogant.

  TRUTHSETSONEFREE- Way to go Isaac ! Good job for posting this link on other ex-JW websites. This news NEEDS to be spread. I just dropped off a few copies of the Australia News Releases about the 1,000 JW child molesters at my local Kingdom hall parking lot car windshields. They got a surprise when they got back from field service. I'm going to be hitting a lot more kingdom halls in the next couple weeks in my 3 to 4 county area.

  NCC-1701- Yes, I do think the WT Society WILL send at least one GB member over to Australia to do some kind of damage control in front of either the media, or give a talk to JW's at a special assembly or something. Either both or one of those things. To calm the troops down and just say that " Satan has all forms of attacks and persecution on us brothers and sisters ! " You know - THAT kind of damage control so JW's don't think the GB is doing anything illegal.

  WHATHEHADAS- I agree, if this doesn't wake up any non-mind controlled JW's nothing will. But it's amazing- different scenarios wake different people up where sometimes the obvious doesn't. It's weird.

  ON THE WAY OUT- Good point. I wonder HOW your wife would respond if she saw the 1,000 Australian JW Child Abusers not reported headline on your computer ? Let us know her response if you get a response, should be interesting.

  if you have read my past posts (mostly in the private section) you know some of my history as a life-long (now former) witness.. i have been away from the jw religion, for all intents and purposes, since dec. 06, though it was not until sept 07 that i stopped attending meetings.

  This story just sums up what the watchtower is all about. Over the past 8 years I've heard so many similar stories that it doesn't surprise me at all.

  That is so disgusting.

  Most jws will mindlessly tune out these stories by robotically repeating the crap in the latest preemptive damage control articles and talks. Those witnesses probably consider that propaganda to be "warnings from Jehovah".

  I think it will do more good to get this out to the public. Not only will they confront jws about it but will be less likely to join this cult.

  Heartbreaking to think about all the children being raised in this corrupt religion.

  The hypocrisy of the child molester Lawrence disfellowshipping Debbie McDaniel while he was still an elder who was molesting children is astounding. Debbie's quote, " I thought it ironic that the man who molested me was now going to oust me to keep his congregation clean. "

  WT leaders indoctrinate this type of hypocritical thinking into elders who wink their eyes at their own wrongdoing - yet bring the hammer down on rank & file JW members. Especially when child abuse is involved regarding other elders or WT appointed men in power positions - even many long time elders go speechless , go silent and take the 5th amendment. Not even reporting it to police many times. The legal hammer needs to be brought thundering down onto this WT organization in a very large manner

  BARBARA - Thanks for posting this article. Absolutely astonishing and nauseating at the same time. Yet this same story can be repeated thousands of times within the Jehovah's Witness organization.

  Just like the lady in Australia who recounted her own JW father's abusing of her and how ALL of her former friends- JW's - sided with her molester father- this same thing happened in this account of Debbie McDaniel where even her own parents sat next to her molester Lawrence in court supporting him and refused to even make eye contact with Debbie.

  This organization needs to be brought down in a real forceful way. The inhumanity the WT leaders display is inculcated into every single rank & file member of the JW organization whereby you have a bunch of little miniature control freak judgmental Hitler's running around judging anything and anybody negatively who doesn't kowtow or agree or cooperate with WT Society's views- including the hiding of child abuse.

  I truly hope Debbie, her wife and daughter can go on living a happier, successful life as years go on - but just running into Lawrence again walking free as a criminal child molester in the store just opens up old wounds and I'm sure she feels abused again ! The lack of justice is astounding. In my opinion there should be no " statue of limitations " on child abuse. There's no statue of limitations on murder- they research " cold cases " in murder- why not child abuse as well ? Disgusting

  Great thread. Very well put. The train wreck that calls itself an " organization " - the WT Society - is about to be derailed. It needs to fully come flying off of the track and the only way to do this is by a massive media exposure of corruption and crimes committed and lawlessness exposed. And as you say the sad thing is the abused children get lost in the shuffle in all of this. WT Society is so concerned about their financial well being, the appearance of the GB and WT leaders in front of the rank & file JW's - that it's like the abused children don't even exist.

  I mean- good lord- look at the 2nd you tube testimony of the female victim BGC or whatever her name was and it absolutely rips your heart out listening to the corruption of her JW father, the corruption of the JW elders, and the corruption of all of her father's JW friends welcoming him back after he was reinstated. It's like she got abused over and over again by the attitudes of people in the congregation acting like her dad was some kind of celebrity after he abused his own daughter and other daughters.

  This organization is rotten from the top down to it's core. Time to chop the WT tree down and put in jail the corrupt men at the top. And others in positions of authority who allow child abuse to continue

  for the jw apologists, they debate certain factors to down play all the recent sex abuse information in the jehovah's witness organization.

  and there is so much focus on "two witness rule" and "parents can report" the "elders aren't legal authorities" and many other smoke screen issues.

  a lot of these issues and discussion are down stream from what i believe to be the root of the issue.

  FREEMINDFADE- Exactly, good thread. You are right on the money hitting the nail on the head. For years now the WT Society has treated child abuse as a " sin " and not the crime that it really is. And therefore due to this loophole created by WT leaders- pedophiles and child molesters skate away free many times without prosecution from law authorities.

  As you state the arrogance factor is HUGE with the GB and WT higher ups. They feel entitled to BE the law of the land. They are such legends in their own minds that they think THEY can determine who is a practicing child molester and not the law. They think that THEY are God . They've even stated that in their Elders manuals and letters to the elders that THEY will determine if someone is a continuing threat as a child molester- it's not for rank & file JW's to determine in their opinion. If that's not ultimate control of people- I don't know what is. Jesus.

  It's high time for all of these ugly WT skeletons to come falling out of the closet as well as high time for WT officials to be jailed for crimes against humanity. As I always say : it's a criminal organization

  The root cause of the child abuse within the WT Society and JW's problem is - An 136 year old organization called the WT Society built on patriarchal principles that emphasizes the control of men as " heads " over women and children and minimizes the need for or importance of women and children to even exist , let alone to have rights .

  The self important, pompous, arrogant attitude of WT leaders thinking that they know better than law enforcement officials in how to handle pedophiles, child abuse crimes- so much so - that they try to hide the crimes and handle it " in house " so as to fake out the public and fake out even it's own JW members and have an APPEARANCE of being a " righteous, clean " organization - when in fact the WT Society is nothing more than a CRIMINAL organization posing as a religion. So this is another root cause.

  These are the root causes of what allows WT officials to flout the law allowing child molesters to serve again as elders once time goes by. WT leaders feel entitled- they feel they are above the law because they feel they ARE the law. They feel they speak for " God " - or ARE " God " - so they answer to nobody. So they must be brought to justice and forced to face their crimes. It's how I see it
