Tigerman- yeah when you do find the right woman for you, you'll know it. You will not only be impressed with her ass, but everything else about her too. Her mind, body, emotions, spirit, etc. blah, blah. It will be different than the other ones you had. You will feel a unconditional love that's there, that wasn't in the other women. Not an expert, but been there done that. Peace to you and others, Mr. Flipper

What Made You Fall in Love With Your Husband/Wife/Lover ,Significant Other?

when in the witnesses, the fanciful thought is put forward that the main thing important in a marriage is the "threefold cord" having god in your marriage.

Would Witnesses Go Out in Ministry if They Didn't Allow Counting Time?
by flipper inhey folks.
mr. flipper here.
when i was a witness , like a lot of you, remember we'd all scramble around at the end of the month asking each other, ( or your book study conductor would remind you) to turn our time in for field ministry ?

Mr. Flipper here again. Did I start the bad formatting? How did it happen? It cut out some of the first part of the thread I wrote. Oh well, you guys get the drift of what I'm asking here anyway. Good answers and replies! Thanks. Oh yeah. Another one I used to see was publishers take undedicated kids with them in service so they could witness to them on break time. Or how about the witness in your car group who would'nt shut up at the donut place and proceed to embarrass the hell out of the rest of us by being opportunistic? There were all kinds of tricks people used to report time, once again, their main motive. Moshe- you were dead on too. 6 hours a month you wouldn't get appointed an as a ms, but by god you get 10 hours a month for 6 months to a year straight and suddenly you are tapping on spiritualities door!! Peace to you al, Mr. Flipper. Keep it comin'!

Outa here
by snarf init seems you have to be of the "popular crowd" on this forum to express feelings and views.
as i am not of this crowd, i have recently recieved alot of not so friendly comments and p.m.s from people who seem to think they need to put me in my place.
it is funny how some people can express their views and opinions and everyone still loves them.

Snarf- Mr. Flipper here. I ran a thread a week ago that got locked down by a forum assistant, and although I disagreed with the action, I wasn't intentionally trying to be insensitive on issues this person thought I was. But I thought about it and it was just one person's opinion and I have lots of other subjects which I know can be helpful to others on this site. I'm sure you do too. All of us are valuable with the exchange of thoughts that go on here. Please stay, you are wanted. Thanks, Peace to you, Mr. Flipper P.S. Don't let negative people decide who you are and what you'll be.

Munkafats- Mr. Flipper here. I'm afraid your elder friend who takes pride in his 17 years of elderdom is misleading you. I would like to share this with you, and you can see this is from an associated press news flash of May 10th. Here is the website to check for yourself that the molestation coverup is true. This information really happened. the site is: http://dwb.sacbee.com/24hour/nation/v-print/story/3617263p-12918091c.html. Please do yourself a favor . Don't believe what these witnesses tell you. There are reasons they want this information kept from you, and none of the reasons are good or acceptable. True, other organizations have pedophiles, but they have come out, admitted it, and don't try to conceal or cover it up from their own members, that's the difference here. Don't be gullible, educate yourself on this so you may protect yourself and others you know. Sincerely, Mr. Flipper Peace to you.

Were Wrong Motives Ever Imputed to You?
by flipper inhello all, mr. flipper again.
when i was a witness, a lot of times i saw situations come up where someone was trying to be helpful to someone in need either spiritually, financially, emotionally or otherwise, and people would try to find fault with the good individual for helping someone.
what causes people to do that to others, jealousy of their goodness or what?

Hello all, Mr. For instance my daughter a couple years ago, she was 19 at the time, left my ex-wifes house to live with a sister 47 and her daughter 20 who were in good standing in the congregation. They had been very kind to my daughter to put her up in a place with them. But immediately, the ex-wife started spreading gossip about the sister and her daughter because they did massage therapy for a living. She made people in the local congreagation think that her daughter was going to be "seduced because of men coming over to have massages in the sister's home" . The sister was devastated that these wrong motives were being imputed to her by my ex and the fact that the ex was gossiping about her and my daughter in the congregation. Forunately , a very heads up elder was made aware of the situation and long story short, gave a local needs talk on imputing wrong motives to others and gossipng about the brothers and sisters. So it worked out. But while it happens in the interim, when somebody shoots their mouth off about somebody falsely, have'nt you all found that it does a great deal of damage , which inevitably can be undoeable?? Please share your experiences in this, God knows I've dealt enough with it, have tried to educate my adult kids about people who are conniving. Peace to you all, Mr. Flipper

Hey folks. Mr. Flipper here. When I was a witness , like a lot of you, remember we'd all scramble around at the end of the month asking each other, ( or your book study conductor would remind you) to turn our time in for field ministry ? Even though it was supposed to be between you and Jehovah how much time you got in, it seemed to me that at times it was like a competition thing, especially with pioneers. I remember hearing regular pioneers brag to other pioneers that "I got my 1000 hours in 9 months time, so I can take 3 months off virtually from the ministry." I always thought, that's a hell of a motive. Now you can go on vacation from what you consider to be the most important work in the world, saving people, "alledgedly" to not giving a rat's butt and rest. Weird thinking to me. Hey, here is a concept. What if the governing body came out with a new rule saying "no more counting of time accepted, because God knows you should be doing this from your heart anyway to help people. So how can you measure that ?" I mean it would certainly test their motive for going in service, ya think? If they were doing it strictly as a volunteer thing for others and not allowed to count time, would it separate the "spiritual" men and women from the "spiritual" boys and girls? What do you all think? Think they would ever not report time? Or do they like the notoriety of their statistics? Would enjoy your feed back. Thanks, and peace to you all, Mr. Flipper

Thanks all, Mr. Flipper here. Enjoy all your responses. Love is a saving thing isn't it? The Beatles said, "All You Need is Love". I like to subscribe to that view too. With all the horrors that go on in the world. At the end of the day, all that really matters is do we love others, and did we make a positive influence in someone's life today? Peace to you all, I'm going to bed

Did You See Congregations Polarized by Gossip? How was it resolved?
by flipper inhello folks.
in some congregations i went to, there were such class distinctions due to cliques and personality conflicts that you could almost draw a line down the middle of the kingdom hall separating people.
i had one elder tell me and the ex-wife to stop associating with his believing daughter who lived with him, in good standing, because as he put it,"she's on slippery ground".

Thanks all of you. Good replies. Bizzy Bee- Blows my mind the elders invited people from the cong. to talk with them about their decision. Boy was that opening Pandora's Box?? Troubled Mind- Boy, I second your comments. It was always a drag to listen to somebody drone on about other people's faults all the while not admitting faults of their own. Gregor- You're so right, it is a lack of love which promotes gossip. Why can't people just get along? Juni- Trying to shut up some of these gossipers? Difficult. It almost made me want to pack duct tape in my bookbag to tape their mouths up so they'd stop talking. Drew- So true. We went in the ministry to help people come into what? Dissension, backbiting, the most loving organization on earth, "alledgedly" ? Please hand me my paper bag while I yank. Hope you're doing O.K. Drew, hang in there buddy
