  How have you felt since you learned TTATT?

  it's been 4 years since it happened to me.

  an almost overnight experience.

  i read ray franz coc in 3 days and that was it.

  WT Society SEC Records : Hedge Funds, Cayman Islands, Financial Losses - Links

  so my wife and i were curious so i researched some financial links and found records indicating that the wt society has been operating at a loss since the year 2012. as you read the links it shows a loss of 10 million $$$ in 2012, about 16 million $$$ in 2013, and a whopping loss of 56 million $$$ in 2014 - where the expenditures exceeded the revenues for each of those years in the amount i've mentioned.

  also there is a link on this same website with the sec records indicating that the wt society and it's representatives funneled 40 million $$$$ into hedge funds in the cayman islands as early as 2007. if you look online on other sites you can see evidence that indicates the wt society attended hedge fund conferences to look into more shadiness in 2011 and isn't it curious that by 2012 the wt society started showing losses.

  Wanted to bump this thread up to keep in mind the WT Society's dishonest abuse of rank & file JW's financially with all the Bethel layoffs going on so lurking JW's can read this information to see that there's more to it than they are told at their meetings. There's ALWAYS been more going on behind the scenes with WT leaders than what they are told at meetings. It's a secret society of which rank & file JW's are not REALLY a part of when you think about it

  those were the frustrated words of my friend as we stood out in his large yard in the country, just about to enjoy a nice bonfire on a beautiful night.

  what was it that could have been a lesser evil than killing himself?

  TORNAPART- When I exited the JW's in 2003 I felt like a ton of bricks had been lifted off of my shoulders. 44 years from birth and at age 44 I felt much more at ease.

  Your question : " How do you live with the fact that you've allowed yourself to be duped despite the fact you know you have a certain amount of intelligence ? "

  Easy answer : You learn to forgive yourself by educating yourself about HOW we all got mind controlled by the WT Society. Being under the influence of cult mind control has nothing to do with how intelligent a person is or is not- it has to do with cults like the WT Society promising things in a manipulative way that they cannot deliver or lying to us and appealing to peoples sense of well being or basic instincts like wanting to live forever, never getting sick, living in a pretty paradise , etc. It wasn't OUR fault we got lied to- it was the WT leaders fault that they controlled us and infringed on the boundaries inside our minds.

  " How do you cope with seeing ones we love still controlled by it ? " It's not easy, but once you understand mind control you know what things to talk about and what things to refrain from talking about with such ones. It saddens me that some of my family are still deeply mind controlled by the JW cult- but there's not a damn thing you can do about it until THEY are ready to see TTATT. You can be there for them if and when they wake up- but it has to be in their own time and way. Until then you lie low and wait.

  " Do you tell everyone you love what you've learned ? " Probably NOT a good idea if " everybody you love " is still a mind controlled JW. You will be judged as a crazy ass apostate and they won't appreciate the truths you are saying because they look at it as " falsehoods ". It will cause disruption and frustration and you'll be beating your head against a brick wall. But if you have non-JW relatives or friends- by all means go tell them everything you know ! It might protect them from getting sucked into the JW cult themselves .

  " What if they put up their barriers and don't want to know ? " Then cease and desist telling them you will be wasting your time.

  My story is I am a lot closer to my nieces, nephews and son who have exited the JW cult than I am to my fanatic JW relatives. I can be myself around my ex-JW relatives, but can't be real with aggressive JW relatives. That's my story- so I let it be what it is and hang with the people who accept me for who I am.   Special Pioneer Couple Living at a Kingdom Hall In Miami FL, get the dreaded Letter

  just got a phone call from an older sister saying that a couple that got re-assigned from bethel 4 years ago to live at their kh apartment as special pioneers, just received a letter saying "as of january 2016, your special pioneer assignment will be discontinued".. they live in a south miami kh(snapper creek congregation).. this couple had only served in bethel for 15 years before they were sent out into the special pioneer work.

  they are now in their mid 50's and the sister said that they have to find part time jobs to support themselves.. the older sister (does not have a pc or internet), says that the couple are just devastated!

  US TV Show 20/20 Interviews Leah Remini about Scientology - Oct 30, 2015

  tonight on the abc network (in the usa) they will be doing an in depth interview with leah remini who was a scientologist for 30 years.

  i saw a preview and there is a lot of talk about shunning.

  My wife and I watched this, it was really good. If anybody gets a chance to see it the comparisons in shunning in the Scientology cult is astoundingly similar to the JW cult. Since this was the original thread posted on it- wanted to bump it back up as well

  Leah Remini - Scientology

  last night on 20/20, they did an interview with leah remini (american actress know for king of queens tv show) she was raised in scientology since the age of 8, and recently left rather publicly.

  she re-enforced what we all know, that they are bat shit crazy (like any cult) but also talked about how hard is it to leave something that's been a part of you for so long.. so many interesting parallels to our world (former world) of jw'dumb.

  it's a great ep to watch with someone you are trying to awaken.

  My wife and I watched this and Leah was very to the point about exposing the indiscretions of the Scientology cult and it's leader and Tom Cruise. It's amazing that all of her family including her mom got out of the cult when she did. Too bad many of us as ex-JW's aren't as lucky. Many of us have family still in. Yeah- If they post this on you tube I highly recommend that anybody watch this- it was good. The parallels to the JW cult are uncanny
