  With some of the uninformed statements being hurled around here by WT and JW apologists- thought I might share the link here to the WT Society's letter to the elders in 2012 as it shows how irresponsible they have become in recent years .   This should clear up some concerns for any WT apologists who want to read what the WT Society really says in it's confidential letters to elders

  this is a work in progress so let me postulate a few and then post your observations.. i think when we examine this subject we will be able to understand how they picked this recent batch of new comers who can just about manage to even tie their shoe laces and clearly are almost complete idiots.. i'm sure they test any gb hopefuls as to loyalty and courage to face pressure and make defenses for the corporation sound at least plausible and with in the limits of understanding imposed by the corporations edicts.. i know anthony morris came from wealth and he mentioned in one of his talks that his aged father tried to warn him about giving money to the wt corporation and he said that what his dad didn't know was that he was the society (he may have been trying to get some money from his wealthy dad to give to the corporation as sort of an investment in loyalty that would catapault him to gb stardom and who knows maybe even chief honcho.. so i wonder can some buy their way to the top?

  after all it is a scam operation based on bullshit and all the members of the elite are money hungry if not for themselves then for their sock puppet jehovah/me.. what say you?.

  I think that they draw straws to see how many JW children these guys allowed to be molested in the various congregations they served in as elders by covering it up. The more cover ups allowed - then those guys get selected. I'm sure that's part of the criteria. Example : Ted Jaracz

  On the Relevancy of The Institutionalization of Sin

  what is new is their institutionalization.

  PERRY- Just out of sheer morbid curiosity - how do you feel about a Sasquatch and human females procreating ? Is THIS a sin ? It actually HAS happened and been documented in Canada and the state of Washington. It produced a hairier form of hybrid offspring who ( understandably ) had a hard time in society due to prejudices from knuckleheads. What if two male Sasquatches got together ? Would it bother you ? What about two female Sasquatches ? Would you be offended ? Granted they both might cough up hairballs- but that's for another thread entirely.

  But the fact remains that you have a group of scientists right there in Texas who proved the Sasquatch DNA was human and a mix of other " unidentifiable " nature. So don't sweat it- if there is a God I'm sure that he's down with human and Sasquatches having sex. Sasquatches have kidnapped Native American girls for centuries and incorporated them into their tribes. Perhaps Sasquatches descend from the Bible character " Esau " - wasn't he called the" HAIRIER " of the two brothers between him and Jacob ? Thought I'd throw an interesting twist into this discussion . LOL

  Candace is a brave woman and should be respected and commended for her courage of taking on the huge corporation the WT Society and forcing them to come out and have light shed on the very dark practice of harboring child molesters. She accomplished that in a very public way through PBS News hour and ABC Nightline News. Kendrick and the WT Society were exposed for the monsters they really are. Great job Candace, may you have peace in your life now ! Peace out, mr. Flipper

  BLUES BROTHER- I think it's like the old expression " misery loves company " - some of our JW family or friends might secretly have doubts themselves they keep inside without telling anybody- so outwardly they have to TALK like they really do believe it by claiming that those of us who left " REALLY " believe it - so they can convince themselves that THEY believe it as well. A " cognizant dissonance " kind of thing- if you get my drift. Kind of how I see this. Good thread, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  Added to note: That way they can continue to live in denial thinking that we still believe in it- thus not disturbing the alignment in their JW universe.

  Looking Back In Retrospect To 1975...

  greetings, folks: so, it's been 40 years since 1975. and, if you were actively involved with the witnesses back then, the mindset of many was, that by early autumn of 1975, it would mark the anniversary of 6000 years of human existence.

  and, the hope was then, that it would mark the start of the 1000-year of christ, from the heavenly realm.

  but, looking back now, 40 years ago, in june of 1975, only 3 more months remained until early autumn.

  TITCH- Good thread. I was 16 years old at the time and I can't remember anything at all happening indicating any real " end ". All I was concerned about at age 16 was meeting girls and trying to masturbate without my elder dad or my mom getting suspicious after doing the wash ! Trying to listen to my Led Zeppelin music on my headphones without my elder dad snarling at me, " What are you listening too !!?? "

  And here we ALL are still ! 40 years later ! And some of us will still be here 40 years later in 2055 as well. Ain't no " end " gonna happen. We need to live our life in the here and now

  so i went out today with my broken leg and got accosted by an old lady, with some magazines.. it was my first ever encounter with a jw in ten years, and i had said 'i know you are jw's, i'm not interested thank you.

  " twice.....then she started talking about my broken leg and how wonderful we are made and how amazing the healing process is.... and that's when it all started...."i used to be a bethelite pioneer, now i'm an atheist doctor...".

  she was with me a good 30 mins, her elder husband left very annoyed but she stayed, and she was dying to hear everything i spurted out, despite aggressively defending every point, from military engines to paedophilia.

  SNARE & RACKET- I'm proud of you man, you did a fantastic job ! Very well done ! Indeed you gave that older JW lady something to think about. I have found in talking to JW's that the women are MUCH more open to being reasoned with than their elder husbands. I had a similar experience a few months ago talking to JW cart people. The elder was so pissed off that he cussed at me , used the word " shit " and threw my child abuse news printouts away.

  You did a good deed my friend. Access to information is important- and you provided it for her, good job. Her husband can go sit on his thumb and rotate, don't worry about him, he's a dolt. I hope your leg gets better my friend, take care and hope you heal soon. Thanks for sharing this, very encouraging ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper
