  but they are wise in other matters.. i have made a new topic since i slaughtered the book in the last topic of raymond franz.

  do not forget that he made a mistake in being a 100% governing body thinker.. no organization at its early stages can live up to jehovah's expectations and no one is perfect.. please list some good ideas, ethics that the governing body has done here.

  page 5 and 6.. to see the difference between having an accurate knowledge of the bible and having a passing acquaintance with what it says, let us consider what is commonly called the our father, or the lord's prayer, recorded at mathew 6:9-13.. millions regularly recite jesus' model prayer in church.

  but how many have been taught its meaning, especially the first part of the prayer dealing with god's name and kingdom?

  as i was performing my evil nightly pagan ritual of paging through the threads on jwd, a thought "came across" my mind - all we ever really do here is slag the tower.

  now, while this is without doubt one of the most fun activities ever invented, especially considering the fact that many of us gave up very large parts of our lives in the service of this book publishing company formerly known as a religion, and also taking into account the fact that some of their more ludicrous doctrines wouldn't be out of place in a monty python film, it does seem a little bit one-sided.

  "people" like comforter, nyt, and of course the venerable hildablingbling have repeatedly stressed that we should completely ignore the rampant child abuse, society-sanctioned murder in exchange for getting your child's mugshot on the awake magazine, more society-sanctioned murder for less glamorous purposes such as not buying political party cards for 25 cents, and so forth, in favour of concentrating on the good aspects of the society!

  i am really down on the dumps regarding being shunned and torn apart about da (i haven't yet).

  a week ago i wrote to dr. phil on oprah and wrote briefly about jw practices on shunning.

  all i can say is put franz book to the test for yourself.

  1)he is making money off a dumb idea.. 2)he was expecting 1975 to be armageddon.
