by Wafe inwhen i came to this board, i thought that it was for encouragement amoung people who had been treated badly by the wtbts, i did not understand that people were going to come here and bash god, his son and the bible.
i could understand some embitterment over religion but some of you people are down right insulting.
not to mention the fact that i have tried to contact others on the board and have had my messages ignored.. .

Parents who, guid'ed by the JWitts, abuse their children and call it love.
Parents who, believe it is more important to teach the bible than reading, writing and arithmetic.
Parents who, shun their children because their children develop a free mind and leave the ogr.
Parents who, in fear of death accept a notion of everlasting life in paradise.
Parents who, are stupid enough to not see how they are being controlled.
I think I vented enough this morning.

Do you think that Jehovah and Jesus are "controll freaks"?
by booker-t ini know many people might say to question jehovah and jesus about anything is a form of "blasphemy" but do you sometimes think that jehovah and jesus are "controll freaks"?
i just sometimes think for myself and not what i think jehovah and jesus want me to think and i see a controll issue with both of them.
first of all it seems that jehovah is always "testing" his people to see if they love him.

I'm sorry you feel that way Wafe. People do come here for encouragement. They also come here to heal and venting is a method used to heal for many things. I know it's working for me, I bash much less now than before.

Unbled meat.
by DJK inwhat is the (or your) definition of unbled meat as described in 1 samuel 14:32-35 where saul fed his army unbled meat.
i would assume that his army did not travel with a herd of sheep and the meat they ate would be from the wild.. i am a hunter and when i harvest a deer, i do not hang it and cut the throat.
i have already dressed (disemboweled) the deer and that includes removing the heart from the inside which allows a total bloodletting.. there are jdubs who hunt and it is quite obvious to game officials who they are because they will check in deer with the throat cut.

Strangle can be argued. Does it's reference in the bible mean the squeezing of the windpipe to kill or does it refer to a force or action that restricts freedom? It may be an assumption to killing because the word's "abstain from blood", follow.

I Got Married
by Lehaa ini know i don't post here very often any more, but i just had to share the great news with you all.
my soul mate and i got married on the 10th of march.
had an absolute blast, was a totally undub event.

Christians - Does a JW baptism count as Christian?
by AK - Jeff ini tend to accept that mine did - i was baptised prior to the changes that made one a 'watchtower disciple'.
my dedication was and is to god - prob the reason i am finally out.. opinions?.

I was baptised Catholic as an infant. I have and can still trace thru the church written record of it. Can a JW trace his baptism? Does he have a written record?

Contol freak, testing and insecurities are human faults. It seems to suggest the bible was written by humans and from the heart and mind of a human. Then again, god created man in his own image which suggests god is just as imperfect.

Acts 15:20, 29 still applies.
Twice said, "Abstain from blood". There is no description made in regards to unbled meat. You have to kill a wild animal before you bleed it and if the dead don't bleed, then how do you properly bleed it? Is this an oversight on god's part?
