by prophecor ini gotta' admit, i gotta' lil redneck in me.
as life gets shorter by the minute, i'm finding all kinda' neat things out about it before it's unfortunately time to go to the check out line.
country music is slowly becoming a way of life for this redneck trapped in a black man's body.

My taste in music changed about fifteen years ago. I was getting very bored and uninterested in the music coming out then. Even my kids were changing to country. My wife and I started taking country dance lessons too. I prefer the couples dances and and my wife likes the line dances. A lot of great country artists, I dont think I'll ever get bored with this music. We will be going to a concert in June to see Alan Jackson and Brooks and Dunn.
This has a great ending.

18yo nephew wants to know why I left the Troof.

my nephew has told my sister that he intends to ask me why i left the 'truth'.
he's a great kid and i'm hopefull he'll eventually see the light.

I'm not sure that I could tell someone else's child, especially a relative, anything that may turn him from his religion and eventually his parent's. Until he is living on his own, I think I would just say it isn't my cup of tea anymore.
