today, i just want everyone to think about the reason why this day was originally celebrated by the early christians.
it had nothing to do with rabbits or eggs or chickens or baskets.. it was all about the risen lord, jesus christ, who conquered death so that we could have life in him.

help with JW Internet use guidelines
by Tatiana incan anyone help me find an article giving info on whether witnesses are allowed to "count" time witnessing online?
i know a km from '99 that basically says jws should spend time with their brothers and sisters instead of being online.
i'm looking for something specific.

I don't think they have ever said this; they recommend telephone witnessing but not going online to witness, they strongly denounce that.

by Crumpet insince i moved here in february i have been lovely tending to my friend hisbiscus.
its gone from pruned stems to growing buds to finally flowering.
this morning when i woke up i was excited to see how the petals had lengthened and seemed about to open - but i had no idea how far.

Stunning! Crumpet, do you have something called 'Macro Mode' on your camera? Most digital camera's have it, or rather, some have it, but what it does is brings the subject forward for utmost detail and blurs the rest of the picture. Very nice shots though.

Yes, I do Purple. Im a pretty emotional person. Beautiful songs often bring tears to my eyes, and I am not ashamed to admit it. There are a couple of really important people in my life, more so than anybody else, and right now I think i'll go and give them a big hug to show how much they mean to me. Thankyou Purple!
