Hmmm... I don't know a hairdryer might offend the FSM, because all that hot hair can dry out pasta pretty quickly. Perhaps if they pulled you out of a pool with a giant colander that would appease the almighty FSM.

I floated when I was baptized

i told the elder doing the pre-baptism stuff that i didn't really want to get baptized.. at the ass-embly, i didn't say the baptismal vows.

just stood there.

the attendant was mouthing, "say it", to me, or something like that, but i didn't.. when i got to the tank, the first time the dude dunked me without warning.

Well, I was born in '74, so this clip is my entire memory of Walter. It is usually played yearly on TV, around Nov. 22 or such.

He used to do those Saturday morning educational/news shorts on CBS I think. There was a spinning globe that was just a grid and a little four of five note diddy at the end. Do-do-do-doooo. Was it FYI?

Sucks that he died, he did some stuff for Discovery not too long ago.

i just found out that woody guthrie was born on this day, juliette 14; i met his very sweet sister last week at the woody guthrie folk festival.. .

on a side jehovahs-witness-related note: is it a weird witness anomoly that my mom didn't know who woody guthrie is?

could drinking a lot of carbonated water rot your teeth?.

this question has nothing to do with sugar.. this carbonated water has no sugar but i know that co2 in water is slightly acidic (like rainwater but more so) and that rainwater dissolves limestone caves... so on a much lesser scale could carbonated water do damage to your teeth which are made of calcium...?.
