the lightbulb finally switched on in my wifes head
by betteroffdead inso i haven't been to meetings for close to a year( been to busy on jwd:d) my wife has been angry at the elders for awhile but still believes the doctrine somewhat.
i've been drop hints for awhile and she has agreed with what i've said.
cut to a couple nights ago i have her watch the national geographic on cults and applied it to witnesses and she was absolutely speechless, and she had the look of it has all been a sham on her face.

did anyone see the national geographic show on cults?
by betteroffdead ini only caught about the last ten minutes of it but what i saw described jw's to a t. they talking about how this cult leader didn't come into a new body or something like that and how although his prophecy didn't come true his followers still believe him.
sound familiar?
if anybody knows when this program comes on again please let me know, thanks.

new to the forum but have been reading earnestly many great topics, major respect to everyone who posts.
anyways i'm an "active dub"(i use that term loosely never baptised and it pisses them off, haha) born and raised in it, i've had alot of the questions asked on here myself.
