why do some seek them out over single guys?
i remember years ago reading an article about them but i do not remember much.
No problem I always try to condense my post's as much as possible and don't go into too much detail even though sometimes I should have.
Everyones input has been very interesting and I appreciate the responses. In my opinion it is very abberant behavior but there is always a reason for it, twisted, but a reason none the less. I thought there may be just one really solid one but instead it appears there could be alot.

Exwitless, I should have clarified that was my tongue-in-cheek answer I give my wife anytime the subject of affairs comes up. It's always good for a scowl and a vinegarish reply from my wife. She is the only women on this planet that could put up with me and we get along great.
My wife has the theory that maybe they are tired of getting puppies and want something that is bit more house-broken and predictable. Maybe even somewhat trained allready.

I remember years ago reading an article about them but I do not remember much. I have been married long enough that I should have the "beaten dog" look on my face by now. All of my married male friends have it so I must also. That look should project the stink of death to most single women but not always.
Last week I got hit on three times but I do not have enough time or money for an affair. But it did get me wondering why they go after such high risk prey? Is it the chase or the kill?
not to "hash out" some "personal" issues, but to give the general public the "proof" that the society is spewing nonsense to it's members time and time again about the "end is coming" for all who are not jw's.. it would be easy to get the proof with the recording that we all have access to on here.
does anyone want to try to contact the different shows with this?
there are plenty of us who do not care who knows about our views and have nothing to "lose".
I am not a hardcore C2C listener but there are a few topics that I find very facinating. At least I can look up the schedule on thier website. Yes the guests can be funny but some of the callers are obviousely off of thier psych meds, those are the best. Hearing George or Art draw them out is great. I wonder how often they have to hit the "snicker mute button"? Some of them are so way out there that they really should be institutionalized for thier own protection. Hearing them talk gives me the willies knowing they out on the streets amonst us.
C2C would be very good platform to address the cultish behavior of the Borg. They have a demographic of 20 to 22 million listeners plus thier podcast subscribers. I don't know if an email campaign would make it happen but it would be worth a try.

Coast to Coast AM is always looking for "the world is comming to an end and the sky is going to fall" speakers and authors. An ex JW could offer to debate with an active JW. The active would not come on the show since they interview wicans, pagans, alien abductees etc. The EX JW would have the floor to speak about thier escape from a mind controlling cult.
The show's producers would want someone who has at least written a book to offer some intelligent dialogue. C2C is on seven nights a week for three and sometimes four hours. They need an endless supply of guests.

Any internet forum is only as good as the people contributing something to it. If you are not contributing and getting involved then you are just sucking energy from it. I only lurked for about ten minutes before I know I had to jump in. Sometimes just posting a quick message that a particular thread was very interesting will encourage the original poster to realize how helpful it may have been. This forum does not appear to have a running taly of page views per thread like others do. When someone posts they need to get some feedback just how interested everyone is about the subject. If they don't then they tend to not take the time post again which always diminishes the dynamics of any given forum.
Nobody is going to bite your head off and if somone does disagree with you (and there always is one) they are very polite about it here. I would be totally shocked if I ever posted a thread and everyone agreed with me. That's when it would get very boring.

Exposing the JW's should not be limited just to TV talk shows. All of my male friends and myself can not stand Oprah or Dr. Phil and NEVER watch them. It would be good exposure but a huge chunk of people still would not see it. Radio talk shows would reach many groups that don't watch Oprah. I know Tom Leykus is very critical of all organized religion and I would be willing to bet he would do a topic on them. Radio talk shows are also longer then TV talk shows are and therefore need more material/topics each day.
Any ex JW that has written a book about JW's could have thier publicist contact the syndicated radio talk shows to promote thier book. That way the company that owns the program is absolved from any liability for slander. I have heard alot of very boring and dry authors on some very popular talk shows and always wondered how did they get on?

I have noticed quite few of you using splenda. Do a Google search on the dangers of Splenda and you may be surprised. It was discovered by a chemist doing insecticide research and development. A friend of mine is a naturapathic doctor and he has told me that plain old raw sugar is much safer and it does not have as many cals. as you may think. I have been reading up on xylitol and it also appears to be much safer. I have used it and it actually tastes better then white sugar. My daughter rinses her mouth with it after brushing her teeth. Many dentist's are also recommending it to prevent cavities. It creates a slippery coating on the teeth that the cavity causing bacteria can not adhere to or Metabolize like regular sugars.

there is a congregation close to me that had a number of the members df'd (including some elders and ms) due to wife swapping.
The Cong. I left had about 15-20 people that gambled at a horse track. One was an elder who tried to explain to me that it's not gambling but rather wagering (WTF????). They did this right after the Sun meeting and I was very amazed when a friend invited me for the first time. This little snippet played a big role in me leaving. They were afraid I was going to make trouble for them so I had to get out before I got DF'd to silence me. Very mafia like. The whole story is a bit longer and a whole lot dirtier so I will save it for another day. What was happening to me was extremely upsetting and I realized I was in a catch 22 situation.
To my knowledge nobody ever got into any trouble over it and that was over twenty years ago.
I also have some very juicy info regarding a CO but I would have some professional liability issues if it ever got back to me.
i am in receipt of a fresh pheasant, a gift from a local hunter who shot about 20 of them on tuesday.

de-feathered, de-headed, and de-gutted, i am assured.
Wild fowl has little to no fat so it will be very dry as mentioned above. I always baste it with butter and season it with poultry seasoning or just fresh sage. Just last week I BBQ'd some grouse and it was awsome. It's the ultimate organicaly grown poultry. You also have to watch out for the shot that still may be in it. Bitting down on one will break a molar. If you cut it up or tear it after cooking you will see the tracks the shot pellet left so it's fairly easy to spot them.
