  From time to time I see someone make a joke about how bad ass Chuck Norris is. Where is this from and why is it so funny? I just don't get it.

  To me Chuck Norris is just another 1980's actor who is fading away.

  Yup... one of the things I did after I was mentally "out" was to re-read the bible as if I had no foreknowledge of it. I read it as if I dug it out of the ground and was the very first person ever to read it.

  I highly recommend everyone do this... you'll be shocked at just how absurd the bible is.

  I miss my Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer 2

  was reminiscing with a friend on facebook about our past and the thread concerning windows 7 got me thinking about the hours i spent writing programs for my trash 80 computer.

  any other nerds like me who miss the old hardware?.

  or does anyone miss anything from their younger days (not necessarily computers)?.

  of course, any god would believe in himself, but would he believe in someone greater than himself?

  would he postulate an external cause for the realm in which he lives?

  you might expect that a hypothetical god would be all knowing, so he would know if there is another greater god, but he couldn't know if there is another realm that he doesn't and can't know about.

  Is God Punishing the Tea Party?

  i've noticed that when something bad happens, the religious right tends to have a knee jerk reaction of saying that god is punishing a certain group because that group did something that god doesn't like.. .

  on april 15th (tax day), all of the tea party people got together and had rallies in a lot of the major cities.. on april 17th & 18th, the days that the nascar was supposed to happen, it rained... and rained... and rained... and the races had to be canceled.. .

  now, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to conclude that a disproportionately large number of nascar fans are affiliated with the tea party movement.
