Yeah, it's been years since I went through Empire, maybe 1991? but yeah, it shur is purty....
Denver's heat is dry too...dries my skin out something fierce...but here in Guangzhou it's a little cooler, but that 72-92% humidity gets to ya after awhile and you shirt is drenched in sweat. It pisses me off everytime my students mention to me I'm sweating (like a pig, no less) and they're not...hell, they grew up here and I didn't.
Dustrabbit are hardy animals...so is the jackalope, an animal that's only found in Colorado.
Colorado rocks in the scenery department. Everyone who does not live in Colorado should make a note of it....Visit Colorado on my next vacation.
Now repeat after me: I will visit Colorado and make a pilgrimage to dustrabbit's house....

incense: believe it or not, I've never been to winter park, except for one time I was with some buddies and we drove thru on our way to utah...didn't stop. I don't ski also! Not downhill, but just cross-country skiing three times in my life! A colorado native at that!
I never wear sweaters in the mountains in july...that's perfect weather for me up there. Not hot like down in Denver at that time.
yeah, denver and phoenix are close, but isn't p-town damn hot and dry? 100+ degrees every day?
