I Quit Preaching The "Door To Door and Tract Work" No Time For March 2012.

why i have stopped preaching door to door, inactive now for march 2012!.

i can't participate in the door to door ministry anymore, how can i guarantee my bible studies won't experience the "dark side"?

are we providing a spiritually safe environment for new believers, free of sex offenders, thieves, gossiping bitter old women and "rock throwing hypocrites"?

Yes most people feel the same way your feeling right now or have at one time with being involved with the JWS.

The WTS. was founded on pretentious lies and determination to sell and proliferate its published goods.

As its now known the gospel of the bible is not the same gospel that the WTS. is preaching, its perverted adulterated version

established for commercial reasons. Doctrines were created mostly out of commercial aspirations more than anything.

Yes friendships can be developed at Kingdom Halls through socialization but likewise so too at any church or place

of religious worship.

i'm interested in finding out people's reasons as to why they are athiest.. i have simply through life experience, my research into religions over the years come to that conclusion.

never thought i would come to a day that i did not believe in a god.

believing in a god is like believing in super man, it would be great if he existed but well it's just a fairy tale.

for those of you with experience being asked this question.....or those of you that are/were elders........ what would happen if you responded to that question by saying "i don't know"?.

what would happen if you responded with "i choose not to answer that question."?

and then when they ask why, you say "because i wish to invoke my 5th amendment rights".

Gods were created out of human ignorance of the world we live in, the same world the ancients lived in many thousands of years ago.

This ignorance along with fear and superstitious psychological awareness still manifests itself today in most of todays religions.

These human belief systems have throughout history proved damaging and stood in the way of mankind's endeavorers to improve upon

his own human life experience, in a provable real sense.

Regrettably there is no obtainable power offered for men in atheistic beliefs, as long as the gods are available to men to try indulge toward

empowering themselves, religion and the gods will remain and mankind will not be better for it.

Whenever the group/leader is criticized or questioned it is characterized as "persecution".
Uncharacteristically stilted and seemingly programmed conversation and mannerisms, cloning of the group/leader in personal behavior.
Dependency upon the group/leader for problem solving, solutions, and definitions without meaningful reflective thought. A seeming inability to think independently or analyze situations without group/leader involvement.
Hyperactivity centered on the group/leader agenda, which seems to supercede any personal goals or individual interests.
A dramatic loss of spontaneity and sense of humor.
Increasing isolation from family and old friends unless they demonstrate an interest in the group/leader.
Anything the group/leader does can be justified no matter how harsh or harmful.
Former followers are at best-considered negative or worse evil and under bad influences. They can not be trusted and personal contact is avoided.

in all sincerity i do not mean any disrespect to any beleivers in the god of the bible, but this is a truly remarkable age with communication advances incomparable with 2000 years ago , if the creator or jesus christ were truly interested in giving everybody the chance of everlasting life , wouldn`t they be giving people the opportunity to hear a more current up to date warning now ?

and not relying on messages in languages that are not in use today and are subject to so many different interpretations ?.

Earthquakes in one place after another

i was thinking about mathew 24:7 - "earthquakes in one place after another" and luke 21:11 - "there will be great earthquakes".

growing up in the 80's, i could have sworn the retoric coming from the wts was that there would be an increase in the number of earthquakes as the end drew near.

yet these two scriptures say nothing about an increases in numbers.

Since the ancients believed earthquakes were caused by gods in a show of displeasure or vengeance toward the

people who worshiped these select gods, its not surprising that those words were spoken concerning the Hebrew god's final return.

In reality when the earth's Teutonic plates were in even more motion, creating the extraneously large mountain ranges such as the Rockies,

thats when you could say there were more earthquakes in one place after another.

Of course the WTS. doesn't know shit about the earth's geographical evolution, they're just poorly educated religious zealots, trying to sell

their literature.
