my poor mum fell over on sunday and broke her hip.
she was taken to hospital and yesterday had an operation to place a pin in the joint.
this was obviously a worrying time for all concerned and my dad let us all know what was going on.
Wishing all the best for you and your loved ones, Nugget. Hope your Mum has a speedy recovery and all goes well.
Love,
Baba.
i've uploaded a video that discusses the dramatic jury verdict regarding the abuse suffered by candace conti, of which you are all aware.
if you're not yet familiar with the story for any reason, please check out my blog article on the link below.... http://jwsurvey.org/general-information/the-watchtower-punished-society-loses-legal-battle-over-child-abuse-case.
john hoyle suggested i get a youtube video out fairly quickly so that we can spread the message more effectively online.
Thank you Cedars, CantLeave, & Nugget. Beautifully done.
Love,
Baba.

o cupid - cunning and ruthless one.. i have become weary from a desire.
new and unknown to a blameless lad.. at one time flesh and resolve were.
resistant to sin's allure; however, i am.
Ah, yes... cupid's demise... a true crime of passion!
No one would blame you if you did, Dear CoCo.
hi all, i have been a "lurker" here for some time and feel like i want to share my experience in the hope that it relieves me of dark thoughts i can't shake.
i was "brought into the truth" by a guy, he had to let me study with a girl of course but always had me ear marked to preach in bangladesh one day.
fyi this is a guy who was disfellwoshipped many times and once shaved his head and sent it to bethel apparently it's something to do with some form of repentance in the bible or something?
Hello and welcome Tamasin.
Your story hits a little close to home, it sounds eerily familiar to circumstances of my own many years ago.
Don't worry that your experiences may have "ruined any possible chance at a relationship with god"... allow all of your thoughts and doubts and theories to flourish, but don't fret about it (I was terrified but that was before there were supportive discussion boards such as this one.) You will ultimately find it marvelously freeing and oddly satisfying to not know the answers and be perfectly okay with that.
Love,
Baba.
You are welcome Palmtree & BabaYaga...
Look, Baba....our names together again......
In a thread about feeling small, that made me feel quite lovely.
i've been in the vale of deep shadows, but am feeling more and more like myself.. i'm grateful to my doctors and modern medicine.. sylvia.

Sylvie, I wonder if the Epley maneuver might help? I had a terrible bout with dizziness a couple of years ago, and a dear friend recommended this (which my doctor strangely did not, yet it fixed my problem.)
The Epley maneuver (or Epley's exercises) is a maneuver used to treat benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). [ 1 ] It is often performed by a doctor or a physical therapist, but can be performed by the patient at home. This maneuver was developed by Dr. John Epley and first described in 1980. [ 2 ]
The procedure is as follows:
The entire procedure should be repeated two more times, for a total of three times.
During every step of this procedure the patient may experience some dizziness.
Love it, thank you.
