both them are seriously ill and it's not easy for them..
I am so very happy to report continued good news! Our Rabbit has been admitted to a private room now (out of ICU) and is doing well. The lovely Mrs. R. sounds great.
Continued love and healing to one of the sweetest couples on the planet!

has anyone read this and what are your thoughts, opinions?
i have just downloaded it tonight and i'm already on chap.
Terry, I have never disagreed with you more. Gnosticism in Scientology and Mormonism? No Sir. Not in the slightest. Not remotely.
Gnosis is the absolute antithesis from a cult mentality. There are rituals, but there is no dogma. There are no rules! Questions and doubts are actually encouraged, and the church is within (which is a fine thing as there are not many outposts of Gnostic groups about.)
I suggest you read my link to the description of modern Gnosticism.
we interrupt your forum posting for this 'just in' item...... it appears an elder has not locked his doctor's bag and a member of the conscious class has brazeningly swiped & scanned a copy of the s-55e.
(((thank you anonymous cc jw!.
for the purpose of our bethel audience i want to assure you no actual elder was willingly involved in the obtaining of this scan.. link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/mnf7a0.
This absolutely breaks my heart.
Thank you YNot, thank you anonymous conscious class elder, thank you Randy, and thank you TruthSeeker.
I hope and pray that I do not have to lose another loved one over this horrific, bogus, murderous dogma.

Hi, all... I posted a thread about this some time ago, with the free PDF download link, here you go!
I enjoyed reading it very much, and I recommend it highly.
My reviews are much more complicated than that really, as I do not take the bible as gospel (no pun intended!) so there was a bit too much discussion of scripture for my tastes, but the comparison and the different perspectives on such well known bible stories was a great read.
I think it is one of those books that everyone should read, just to shake their roots a little.
Danabug... my favorite description of modern Gnosticism is here: http://gnosticsanctuary.org/who_are_we.html

Hi, Talesin... no, unfortunately I'm not close enough to be of much use! I have been keeping up with the lovely Mrs. R by phone, also.
Rest in peace and light, Elizabeth.

The news is not confirmed but the doctors told them that it is probably not cancer! Thank heavens. They are still waiting for the test results which may take a couple more days.

the following is a close-up article from the apologia report, used by permission of rich poll.
it is a summary of another article from sociology of religion.. .
"the secular transition: the worldwide growth of mormons, jehovah's witnesses, and seventh-day adventists" by ryan t. cragun and ronald lawson the abstract reads: "a question that continues to attract researchers in the sociology of religion is what factors lead to religious growth.
"We conclude that socioeconomic development of countries ultimately leads to a secular transition, curtailing the growth of these religious groups."
Bingo. Which happily usually includes access to information on the internet!
my wife and i have read carefully through chapter 5 of the new elders manual when we do our " personal study " in bed on saturday mornings !
so without further delay , notice this quote from the new elders manual, " there are times when an emotionally distressed christian may seek professional help.
whether a christian or his family pursues treatment from psychiatrists , psychologists, or therapists is a personal decision.
Gross and horrific, really... thank heavens we are free! Now, for our loved ones...
Thank you for posting this, Mr. Flipper! Give that gorgeous Mrs. Flipper a big hug from the Baba.
