Early Judicial Settings
by Pahpa inunlike the secret meetings that the watchtower conducts for judicial matters, its apparent that the early church was open to all members.
on the matter of gentiles being circumcised, it would seem that the entire congregation at jerusalem was present as matters were discussed.
(acts 15:4,5, 12) also, in the case of the incestuous man in corinth, paul's appeal was to the entire congregation.

Does anything happen to a JW if they cause an unbaptised convert to leave?
by seatrout indoes anyone have congregational experience of an aftermath such as the above?
i once fell deeply in love with a jw (and vice versa) and the week before i was due to leave work some dubs came around to my home on my offday to convert me.
however, i refused to go since we had a serious fallout prior to them turning up.. a few months later i then entered the congregation to try to salvage the relationship, and went to two meetings, but i didn't declare to other jw's there that it was for an emotional need that i had turned up with the hope of being with her.

Most religious work?
by JWdaughter inhttp://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2006/november/37.32.html.
mark r. elliot, editor of east-west church and ministry report, estimates that between 1997 and 2003 the revocations of visas of foreign religious workers totaled 84. fifty-four of them were protestants, 15 muslims, 7 catholics, 3 buddhists, 3 mormons, and 2 jehovah's witnesses.
and these are just the known cases; most are not reported.
