If only the new system was real...

i sent my mum an e-mail the other day to let her know about steve irwin's tragic accident.

this morning i got her reply:he will thrive in the new system when he will be able to get up close and personal with all wild creatures without fear.

tis really sad as he was a good genuine man.. .

That is probably what hurts the most. That there really is no new system coming to removed all the wickedness. *sighs*. I know it's sad to believe a lie, but sometimes I wish I had "something" like that to look forward.

You know... I read that and was so confused that I had to reread it like 3 more times. This is how they get people! You end up just nodding your head yes to it all, all the while not knowing what your nodding your head too, because they make that garbage sound so deep. Too deep for my spirtually weak azz to understand. Or so I think!

I'm so glad I have seen the light. And not the "new light" from the light bulb that keeps getting changed.

I would have read that awhile ago and so oh yes, it so clear, when now I just say oh what crap!

have you found times like christmas have lost that special feeling?.

i watch my family and they totally get into the spirit of it and i always feel as though i am sat 'outside' of some bubble or something, i enjoy it dont get me wrong but just not as much as they do.. also, are you less inclined to believe in supernatural or strange things and look for a rational explanation?.

i find i am slowly looking toward rational explainations for things and in the absense of them i just wait and see.

I can't get into the jolly jolly feeling of christmas, either. I absolutely HATE christmas at my job. They start playing christmas music Nov1st! Oh my God, I feel like pulling out my freakin hair! If I hear another verison of Santa baby or white christmas, I'll scream. I will be buying gifts for my sisters on x-mas, and for my godniece though this year.

I like halloween because I like the whole custome thing and I plan to pass out candy this year.

I've always like Thanksgiving.

Those pumpkin cream cheese muffins from Starbucks. They are always out of them, so it is quite a treasure to find one, and they are DELICIOUS!!!! They are aren't they! Okay I fancy a new husband, I'm getting rid of mines.

i have been writing my story today, before i joined the forum, and my friends linda and trev have encouraged me to post it.

actually, i found it very therapeutic to write it al down.

i hope it doeasn't bore you too much, as it is rather long.

What a captivating story! Like others have said, I normally don't read long post, but you had me hooked! Your a wonderful writer! I'm sorry to hear about your son, not allowing you to see your grandchildren. And they say that Jehovah can identify his witnesses their love!

Your story was truly inspiring and brought tears to my eyes. It is very sad to realize that you have been taught a lie and have been preaching it to others. But I am glad that you are not letting it keep you down. It is great to have real friends, like linda and trev.

Maybe I'll meet you at one of the future apostacurry fest.
