"In accord with this Scriptural precedent"
My question is, will the GB/WT/FDS accept that the way they used to do it before was not scriptural?? Me thinks not!

Re: Adjustment in process for appointing elders and ministerial servants
Dear Brothers:
With regard to Paul and Barnabas’ visit to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, Acts 14:23 states: “They appointed elders for them in each congregation, offering prayer with fasting, and they en- trusted them to Jehovah, in whom they had become believers.” Titus and Timothy evidently are also recorded as taking part in appointing elders in the congregations. (1 Tim. 5:22; Titus 1:5) In accord with this Scriptural precedent, the Governing Body has decided that effective September 1, 2014, circuit overseers will be responsible for the appointment and deletion of elders and ministerial serv- ants. Additional information will appear in the November 15, 2014, issue of The Watchtower.
We request your continued prayers on our behalf as the preaching work is speeding up and more and more people are beginning to worship God by going to “the mountain of the house of Je- hovah.” (Isa. 2:2) Please accept an expression of our warm Christian love.
Your brothers,
Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses
PS to body of elders:
Please arrange for this letter to be read to the congregation at the first Service Meeting after its receipt or after the next Watchtower Study, whichever comes first. This postscript should not be read to the congregation, and the letter should not be posted on the information board. If the circuit overseer is visiting your congregation, he will read this letter at the conclusion of the next congregation meeting. At circuit assemblies and special assembly days, the letter will be read by the last speaker on the program at the conclusion of his talk. We would appreciate your keeping this matter confidential until the letter is read to the congregation or circuit.
In due course, further direction regarding the aforementioned adjustments will be provided to all bodies of elders.
so how many special visits (co), special day/circuite/district assemblies and special talks are there each year..
Add to that:
In the US ans some countries, Branch visit talks.

i was curious what might be some good things to say if i am questioned by the elduurs about my decline in fs.
anything too honest may get me a jc (although that would be for the best in the end..) the co visit is this week so they may be getting more agressive than usual.
Just make up some time. Write every month about 12 or 14 hours, and that will keep them off your back.

the heavenly part of God’s organization, which includes “the daughters of kings,” that is, the holy angels
PLEASE EXPLAIN: If the angels are the daughters of kings as the great GB/FDS/WT tell us, Who are the Kings???????
if you think about it, for a die hard christian the day jesus was supposed to be resurrected and back in heaven, thereby fulfilling his earthly mission, is a very big day.
all the jws i know never even thought about it.
in fact if i had mentioned it, i bet they would have looked me at strangely.
I think you do need to at least think about it, or at least, the daily text should say something about it, but I doubt that's the case.
i'm considering resigning as an elder.
i'm not planning to fade or stop as one of jehovah's witnesses, just stop serving as an elder.. i have responsibility in the congregation and in circuit, district, rbc, etc.
and i'm completely exhausted.
I will say go for it.
ive given this new arrangement a lot of detailed thought and how greatly it benefits the wt and how much it puts a strain on each congregation.. first, let me explain how the old arrangement worked.. you had 3 donation boxes in each kingdom hall.
one for worldwide work, one for kingdom hall construction and one for congregation contributions.. the congregation contribution box accounted for about 60-75% of all donations.
the world wide work box probably accounted for 20-30% and the kingdom hall construction for about 5% of the contributions.
Excellent.
The only benefit I see that the Congregation gets is an updated hall every 10 years or so without a loan payment.
I would say that the congo have to "get in line" with other congregations and wait more that that to update their KH first, if they are using WT's construction program. Most of the times there are more congos in need of repair than others.
after the big a comes, they will have alot of work to do.
i think they would be shocked and disappointed.
according to the scriptures that at the end of 1000 year reign, alot of people will fail the test.
