lev 3:17 in the nwt reads " it is a statute to time indefinite for your generations, in all your dwelling places: you must not eat any fat or blood at all.".

How do you like your steak?
by FiveShadows inwhen i was a jw...i just got baptized on my sixteenth birthday...i was thrilled and excited ...i went to iowa to visit a sister who i had a close relationship with.
when i got there...i was given entry into a brother's house where they were having a huge bbq where steaks were on the grill...and the brother made four steaks...and set one steak aside for himself and declared it was his.
i asked why ...he said "cause i like my steak medium rare.

Ok, now I am totally confused! That sounds to me like they are saying that no fraction is forbidden. I don't know, maybe I'm missing something...I am pms'd today>>>LOL. You can tell by my response to Curyus today. Last summer, when my dad got sick, my dub sister had to have a long meeting with the HLC to learn what fractions were acceptable and which ones weren't. Does that article you posted lead you to believe than anything goes or should I get some sleep????? love, dj

Hi Ballistic,
Can you tell ma what you mean, specifically? I researched Hemopure back when my father became ill. It is indeed made from Cattle Red Blood Cell that have been ultra-purified and processed then mixed with a salt solution.
Are you saying that this article that I referenced is untrue? Thanks in advance. dj

Hygh,
To me there is a major difference between an every day hypocritical action AND a hypocritical teaching or I guess I should say Command...by an arrogant bunch of men who cause the deaths of many because of their False command. This was never a command given by God. Drinking blood was the issue not a life saving merciful act. dj

Sorry my link doesn't work. They stuck it in archives and now they charge a fee to read them.........HA! I have a copy of the article from way back when. It was in Sept.24, 2000,The Sacramento Bee. The Medical writer, Dorsey Griffith wrote the article entitled," Life Spared, Faith Preserved: Accident victim gets experimental therapy"
It says that a man, Jose Orduno lay dying. to make a long story short....he was Permitted by the Hospital Liaison Committee's, Gregory Brown.....to be given HEMOPURE which is made from Cattle Red Blood Cells.......

I miss my mom
by flower indont know why but lately i do.
i feel so bad that i have been so mean to her lately.
but ever since i found out the real deal about the organization i havent been able to even hear her voice without being feeling angry at her.

You know I luv ya. I wish I knew what state you are moving to???? I relate to a lot of what you wrote. My mom is VERY similar. She told you about the housing, sounds just like something my mom would do. I think that was her way of saying she loves you. She did reach out, even though she had a 'cover.' My mom does the same thing....calls once in a blue moon to tell me something that she deems important. I wish she could just call because she just wants to, but she is....... how she is, i guess.
Anyway, I feel sure about the advice that I'm dropping on you.....hope you don't mind!! It's my opinion that you will feel an ENORMOUS weight off of your heart if you would just let her know that you love her and will miss her....and atleast tell her which state you'll be in! I think that you'll feel 20 lbs. lift off of your mind. Then, go live your life and be happy with that adorable little boy of yours!! Love, DJ

Secondly, I was taught that the whole blood fraction thing had to do with, which blood fractions that Jehovah allows to be shared by mother and baby in utero. They said, After all...Jehovah would not break his own law!! Aside from this whole blood issue completely missing the 'merciful' command given to us by Jesus, the WT doesn't even follow their own guidelines!! Many, not all but many times, Identical twins DO share the same blood. Why doesn't the wt teach the 'whole' truth. They teach fractions are ok, which is a fractionated truth, as usual. dj
