  Have YOU Ever Met Up With Anyone Famous

  have any of you on this forum, ever met up with anyone considered famous?

  i've met a great deal of people over the years.

  one of my most memorable: dennis leary, drinking a few pints with him as he sang "margaritaville" from the jukebox.

  The only famous person i have ever met was Edwina Currie, at an awards ceremony, i had a coffee with her in the canteen. To my surprise i found her to be a very interesting person.

  To all the non brits, she used to be a well known Member of Parliament who had an affair with John Major before he became Prime Minister. In fact she must have been having the affair when i had coffee with her.

  My girlfriend went to school in Shropshire, near to the Lilleshall complex. All the England football team schoolboys went to her school.

  Watching Match of the Day with her is like going down memory lane with her...her ex boyfriend is Jermaine Defoe, she used to hang out with Michael Owen, Joe Cole, Francis Jeffers, to name just a few....Every time we watch Match of the Day someone new comes up who she remembers from school.

  My 12th Wedding Anniversary

  yesterday was our 12th wedding anniversary.

  only my mother on my side of the family is still a witness.

  i receieved cards and phonecalls from all my family, even though we've just recently had a family death and most of them are aboard to arrange the funeral.. my wife's family are all dubs, and she is very close to her family.

  How old were you when you got baptised???

  i was 15, quite old compared to some.. a friends child has just got baptised at 13.....to think that she knows what she wants for the rest of her life at that age seems ludicrous.. so, who here got baptised at the youngest age?.

  The great thing about tattoo's is that we can now have them done!

  I have one on my left shoulder the week i got divorced, it is a sun with the chinese symbol for happiness in it. Symbolising the dawn of a new day in my life that i'm happy about.

  I have just had another on my right shoulder. The symbol of the great WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS, with barbed wire around it, symbolising they cannot be touched. Underneath the roman numerals of MMIII, symbolising our great day of achieving premiership status at the Millenium Stadium......and i was there!!!!!

  nice thread.. "when the world turned blue" by joe samples & lala hathaway.

  it just had a big impact on me when i was leaving the watchtower, i still play it now.. "soul 2 soul" keep on moving.

  i was playing that a lot at the time so it had an impact on memories.. "havent you heard" patrice rushen.

  what was the true motive for the wts joining the un?

  what did they have to gain?

  i've done research, but have yet to find an answer to my question.

  I have only limited knowledge myself.

  But from what i have read, they joined to be able to get research material and data from the UN.

  Apparently the material is available anyway, but it has to be paid for.

  Hope i'm right, but its something along those lines.
