I was 12.Sitting in the back of a yellow Dogde Dart.An old lady was walking back to the car,having just left some magazines at a "nh" house.A dalmtion came tearing out of nowhere,and just as the old lady was reaching for the door handle,{I was at the passenger side back window,mind you}this dog grabbed her hand and tore the upper plam of her hand completely off,and them as she fell,this beast from hell grabbed her boney hip.I passed out as embarrasing as it is to admit it.I remember the blood spurting all over the yellow car and on my window...I have been wary of dogs ever since. The old lady needed extensive surgery.No charges were filed.

What is latest WT quote on donating blood ?
by Phizzy ini no longer have access to wt lit or cd, as i burned all my bound volumes one day in disgust, and don't have a cd.. so could someone kindly post the latest on donating of blood, not simply that it is forbidden, but the latest where they say why they hold this position.. if i remember rightly, it was based entirely on the o.t injunction about "pouring out" the blood of a slain animal, but i need to be sure before i question jw's on this.. many thanks in advance, if you are able to help..

by oompa innot sure about it specifically....but i see three catagories...and what do you think is the specific one is????
i fit in the first one...and you guys know what the deal breaker was for me.... (changing the bible to make it say what they wanted it to in the nwt...especially adding the name jehovah 237 times in the nt...or cgs....when there is zero ancient manuscript for doing so...even though rev says to not add nor delete nuttin...they added the name jehovah twelve time in rev alone....even though not a single one is a quote from the ot or hebrew scriptures!!
and that is not right either....how did we not notice that we have the only bible around with the name jehovah in the new testament.....sooo deceitful about that) (and that is the longest parentheses of my life)...lol.
