  Send your XMAS cards from the North Pole...

  i did this last year and the family got a kick out of it.

  the usps says to use it for your children but you can use it to mail your christmas cards postmarked "north pole alaska"... remember your christmas cards must be individually stamped with proper postage when you send them to the north pole postmaster.... .

  the postal service is helping you create and preserve this memory for your child.

  Why all the animosity?

  i have seen several really angry people posting lately and i'm wondrering if maybe i missed something.

  i don't read the newspaper , i don't watch the news on tv , and i don't gossip about world events with anyone , so maybe i'm out of touch and missed something.. i spend all my interactions with people in real life doing my very best to improve there experience in this life , i see a need i do my best to meet it, i'm not a bleeding heart or even a communist or a socialist , .

  but i see so much negativity brought about by peoples own views , they could be happy if they just would shut up and look at the world and what a gift this life is instead of bitching endlessly about how f**cked up everyone else is.. spreading ill will like it has no effect , it's pollution , it adds to the very thing they bitch about, (sigh) ,,,, i just wish more people would grow up.

  New arrangement for field service?

  i don't know if this is a worldwide thing because i didn't go the meeting where the arrangement was announced, but it's being done in my congregation anyway.

  during those 6 months the member assigned to the pioneer is meant to make time to work with the pioneer as much as possible, so they can strengthen each other.

  the idea is meant to be that eventually each member of the congregation will get a go.

  Yes, I remember it being done in my old hall. They give the pioneer a "You're Special" badge for volunteering to do this.

  And what's with all the cleavage and boob shots?? It's like being in a bar, and someones only got physical attributes to try and make a name for themselves through the crowd. Whether it's a photo of yourself or not, what's the need?

  Wow! Now that's divisive. We're just having a little fun here, if the ladies want to show a few boob shots, then I say let em. The female form is the most beautiful thing in the world. You don't have to look.
