Why all the animosity?

  I have seen several really angry people posting lately and I'm wondrering if maybe I missed something.

  I don't read the newspaper , I don't watch the news on TV , and I don't gossip about world events with anyone , so maybe I'm out of touch and missed something.

  I spend all my interactions with people in real life doing my very best to improve there experience in this life , I see a need I do my best to meet it, I'm not a bleeding heart or even a communist or a socialist ,

  But I see so much negativity brought about by peoples own views , they could be happy if they just would shut up and LOOK at the world and what a gift this life is instead of bitching endlessly about how f**cked up everyone else is.

  Spreading ill will like it has no effect , it's pollution , it adds to the very thing they bitch about, (sigh) ,,,, I just wish more people would grow up

  I just checked my email, and Google sent this to me. This is the only thing about the witnesses in the blog. It reminded me of Danny, but with the exception, it is a person that really has no bone to pick with the Witnesses. The animosity, it seems, is far reaching.

  No matter who you are, frankly I don't give a rat's arse which of the various pantheon of gods you choose to follow. Jews, Christians, Muslims, Wiccans, atheists and agnostics... it's none of my business and makes no difference to me. (Ok... except maybe the Jehovah's Witnesses. Next time you bastards come knocking on the door during the Jets game on Sunday afternoon, I'm throwing eggs.)

  " has no bone to pick with the Witnesses"-- Evidently he does. Here's how it probably goes, guy is enjoying his game maybe even has company over or a good buddy, jw's knock on his door, guy has kid look out window to see who it is, 'it looks like jw's dad', 'just don't answer the door'. A record breaking touchdown is on the way, the guys have been waiting to see this play for a long time, do the jw's leave after no one answers? Noooooo! they keep knocking and ringing the doorbell, the dog goes nuts, everybody is in an excited state due to the game and the jw's cannot leave the man in peace. Noooo, they have rags to give him, they need to ask him if the word isn't a crappier place than ever before. Finally the owner of the property has to get up and tell them in person because they are not the sharpest knife in the drawer that he is not interested. Why does this annoy him so? Because he has told them time and time again 'not interested, do not come back'. Now he has missed the most exciting play of the entire season. He is annoyed. The guys sitting around drinking a beer tell him he missed the play of year or maybe ever! and he has no bone to pick with the jw's?

  When pedophile harboring/condoning, bloodguilty jw's can respect other peoples rights and private property, quite trying to break up families and indoctrinating anyone they can get their hands on, and only when they leave others alone can people have no bone to pick with them.

  I had a bit of a vent on the necrophilia thread... I'd had a bizarre day, posted logically at first, then posted a rant at the end of the day.

  Anyway... JohnDoe was right - the world is getting better.
