my family were in the field service one saturday morning.. my little brother did nothing if not piss my dad off as much as possible, not sure if it was on purpose or just a personality clash, but anyway.. i'm pretty sure little bro would not get out at a door and was also possibly doing something mischevious, i.e.
drawing funny yet inappropriate comics to entertain himself and his sisters.. so my dad demands that my bro get out.

I wouldn't describe any person's beliefs as dumb. Perhaps uninformed, uneducated, or irrational. I believed a lot of the things above (just like the rest of you) but I was never a dumb person.
I think the wording of the thread title indicates that the specific belief is targeted, not the intelligence of the believer. I agree with you that labeling a person as "dumb" would be uncalled for. Unless it was for humorous purposes, and not targeting a specific individual. Slightly off-topic, but speaking of humor, daniel, your description of your convention experience still cracks me up:
Heh, one thing in particular that gave me the giggles, was to go in the bathroom stall, and when something particulary rousing was said by the speaker and came through the speakers above the stalls, I would say "praise Jehoover!" in a old man's voice. I thought I heard some guffaws a couple of times.

Hilarious! Yup, they are learning. Stick with those "after the fulfillment" prophecies and you can't go wrong. Or not too far wrong. Or you could just read a newspaper.

Going "Door to Door"..........

my choosing because i loved going back to the places i was the night before.
think of it - the last time they seen me i was either doing a beer bong or teaching people to do a beer shot gun.
