  i just wanna know why...after a thousand dang years, jehovah would even want to think about lettin go of the dude who started it all....satan.

  why?..

  like a thousand years is a long time, and people are supposed to be gettin perfect n stuff during this time, and the earth is supposed to be gettin all perfectionized.... so satan can f- - - it all up again?.

  According to the bible satan committed the original sin, not adam and eve, even the WTS says this I believe in the insight book under sin. It started in heaven with him. How the f%$k does he get off so easy, when adam and eve get smited right away and countless billions of their kids suffer...

  i consider the bible a work of fiction, and i consider the ot to be barbaric and the underlying theme for everything wrong with religion from jw to radical islam.

  @sowhatnow, they haven't because there is no evidence of that many people moving through the desert period. The exodus story would have left some evidence, there is none.

  Anyone read Exodus 32 lately??? I consider the bible a work of fiction, and I consider the OT to be barbaric and the underlying theme for everything wrong with religion from JW to Radical Islam. It's filled with man made analog thinking that people attribute to an all intelligent creature. This is so stupid. I find verse 14 very interesting, after the people start worshipping their gold calf, god tells moses, ok that's it, I am going to EXTERMINATE them, and start over with you. So moses starts talking sense into Yaweh... I kid you not... then here is the interesting part (Exodus 32:14)

  So Jehovah began to reconsider the calamity that he had spoken of bringing on his people.

  Now one way to the other the most intelligent entity in the universe was wrong. If not before for considering it, then after for not destroying the people he just f$#ked over the Egyptians for. So he did all that to be like screw it, kill em all, lets start over AGAIN. If verse 14 doesn't wake people minds up to how silly this all is I don't know what else can. 

  The reset of Exodus 32 just gets worse btw, 

  28 The Levites did what Moses said. So about 3,000 men were killed on that day. 29 Then Moses said: “Set yourselves apart* for Jehovah today, for each of you has gone against his own son and his own brother; today he will give you a blessing.”

  Benevolent loving god? or jealous bloodthirsty monster? 

  And if moses could talk God out of committing complete genocide against his own people, couldn't elders negotiate with God and talk someone out of being DF'd? lol, maybe god would be embarrassed he got so mad and "RECONSIDER".

  They are idiots and disconnected. Have them watch those savages isis burn the pilot and ask them if they would have the stomach for such savagery. They don't. Witnesses are pussies. They like thinking they want to see genocide but the reality will turn them into crying babies. They read the OT and do bible highlights. Could any of them preform such callous acts of violence. No way. Cowards. The idea thrills them the reality would be far too much. Makes me sick.

  i don't typically hear from my mom often, but i tell you, over the past couple of weeks, i have heard from her several times.

  you heard the comment about "our way of worship will be altered" and thank you for your posts by the way....but yesterday, she calls and is asking about the kids and then, in typical jw fashion mind you, says:.

  "you know, you should really get back to meetings.

  My thought is this, me and a lot of others even older than me were told when we were young there was no point in doing anything just wait for the system to end it will be soon, you won't go to school, oh no you won't graduate school, well, you'll never have kids, and so on and so on. Lets just say hypothetically God did call up this CO and said "hey old sport, ends coming in 15 or less" and it does. How could millions like myself be held accountable for not believing such a thing when there was a century of crying wolf and false hope?? You couldn't because the jdubs would never admit to "lying" about it, but thats what it is. Someone becomes a liar like my mom saying you have to get baptized (over 20 years ago) or Armageddon is coming and you will die. Then it doesn't happen, you have established a foundation of distrust. And if God was real, and had an end date, and was gonna kill me for not believing it, so be it, because in my heart I do believe its all crap. And if its not who's to blame? me? what about god? what about the org? what about my mom????  My mom sent me some emails about the pope, and the middleast like here we go its coming, same things I've heard all my life. I almost emailed her back really? I thought Armageddon started during the halftime of the superbowl when the harlot rode in on the wild beast lmao.

  wife ended up sick this evening.

  so i'm by myself because i have talk #3 and i didn't know she would be sick.

  buzzing on 4 beers and 1 bourbon and coke.

  cappytan don't let them dog you. Drinking is awesome. If you have a problem it will be wrecking your life, if you don't you are just having fun. No downplaying of abuse, but not all of us who drink and have a good time and even joke about it are destroying our lives with "the creature". I have a very high tolerance as well, I enjoying drinking very much and as not giving a crap about the Jdub I am happy to admit I love to drink! That being said, I try to stay fit and healthy, so take big breaks from it at times, and don't wreck myself very often, maybe once every 6 months I need to remember how awful that feels lol. But this thread was in good fun and don't knock going to a meeting with a buzz until you've tried it. I don't believe our friend cappytan has a problem. enjoy your lives a little people.
