You have to think of it this way, there are a lot more people on earth every year, and our access to data has changed dramatically. In one way this has brought more attention to atrocities. But when you think about what was going on during ww1 and ww2, the and centuries before, this earth has been through some pretty twisted times. Ive been on earth 35 years, I don't feel qualified to say oh this time is so bad.

Can the world condition be worse than this?
by abiather inthe innocent civilians being attacked is the norm of the day.
attacking hospitals too are happening frequently.
now schools being attacked is becoming a regular affair (last of its kind massacred 150 children in peshawar on december 16, 2014)..

The scared little girl in the basement
by brandnew inim kinda mad, its hard to shake off the look of that little girls face...standing in someones basement, scared.. why the hiding?
if these people werent in this basement, would they be killed?
all them years of studying and being loyal, and its come to this.......being scared in a basement....all bad !

All by design. There is psychology behind their illustrations. That evoke emotions etc. In a crowd pic they always have a person looking at you the reader. In this one it while he is reading off the koolaid recipe they are about to drink because gog is suing the org for sex abuse
