WT Public Information-Position On Murder

how would the wt public information explain their position on other crimes such as bank robbery, rape, or even murder?

would they present their position in the same way as child molestation?

if so here is an example for wt media to post with the proper changes.. .

I entirely disagree. The comparison is invalid for the reason that murder, for most murderers, is generally not a compelling addiction or a behavior that is acted upon often and repeatedly. Also, the testimony of a dead person is basically sound (the act was indeed committed as someone is dead). It is far more difficult to corroborate an alleged molestation.

In reality what we're discussing here is not molestation or murder or any such criminal issues, but rather the internal judicial protocols of the JW church. I would appreciate a straighforward answer from Bill Bowen in this regard: Does he believe that the JWs have biblical and scriptural support for their protocol or not?

As much research as Larson did, it is amazing that he does not qualify for baptism yet!

well, i am bucking the general consensus here that everything went well on dateline.

i thought it was fine as far as it went but looking at it through the local jw eyes it will not get what you all and i hoped for.

the show didn't put proof on all the cases we all know about.

The only thing I would have liked to have seen was more recognition and advertisement of watchtower.org and silentlambs.org URLs. And jehovahs-witness.com. :-)

My concern is not that JWs will or will not leave the organization. My concern is that the truth come out and let the chips fall where they may. And that is what is going to happen.

My Silentlamb/Benton KY experience.

we all know the big news that came from the news conference and candlight vigil (candle light at 7:30pm?

i arrived at the benton courthouse at 9:30 am, i guess i was expecting to see a lot of people there.

i walked around and around and around the courthouse looking for someone that looked like they were there for the press conference.. finally, at about 9:55 i saw several cars with folks in suits drive by and figued "that must be them" i was correct.

g'day cyber junkets.. now this personality test is good, very good.. i would be very interested to see the results from most posters.. i came up a type 5, the investigator.

so accurate.. i can see simon as type 9, englishman as the definative 7, alan .

fur-burger is a natural 8 ( with a definite twist of 6 ), princess is a 4 through and through and naeblis, well....he thinks he is a 3 but he is really a hardcore 5.. well was i close ???.

Singer Van Morrison a Witness

do any of you know if van morrison was ever a jw or studied with the jws?

i was listening to howard stern the other day and his daughter was on the show.

Van Morrison's mother was a JW and he attended meetings as a child. He was never baptized.

Some say that Prince is baptized. I do not know for sure. Prince did marry a JW girl from Minnesota last year. In a Kingdom Hall.
