Dating is either a nightmare or hilarious (depending on my mood!)
by Cady inso on rare occasions i get the brilliant idea that online dating is worth a shot.
i'm in the psych program at school, 90% of which is female, and since i work and am in school almost all the time i tend to only rarely run into single guys my age.. so this guy invited me to his company's yearly party sat.
- he actually works for this huge online retailer, so lots of techy people and what not, good drinks, whatever.

watchtower.org Does Damage Control On Secret Societies
by Rig Boy inwatchtower.org, the official website of the jdubs currently has a piece that brushes on the "dangers" of secret societies.
the writers are careful not to mention freemasons/zionists/jesuits etc.... yeah wouldn't want people investigating that.
more interestingly, everytime a masonic piece or other type of scandalous piece is posted on jwd, the watchtower seems to put up a damage control/rebuttal article out to deny the allegations.

Self-intro, newbie questions
by Nara ini've been "cruising" the boards for two months now, and there appears to be a lot of very knowledgeable and "cool" individuals here.. i recently embarked on a introductory bible-study with the jws in my area.
i know that probably isn't music to most of your ears, but rest assured that i'm not remotely sold on their theology.
nor am i blind to the past scandals and current issues of the wtbts--i've read about four different scholarly works about the society.. i was raised as a lutheran, and i've had a decent amount of bible-schooling in the lutheran denomination.. my questions to you, those who would know, are these:.

Why do you guys have such a tough time. I have them agreeing with everything I ask them. I almost find it boring.
I start with this to elders even: "Do you think Jehovah loves everyone enough to send a messenger that could convince everyone on earth to repent and be saved?". Is He powerful enough to do that? Or does He rely on the threat of eternal death to scare us into obedience, to be "saved"?
What are they going to say?
If they say "yes" what does it do to their entire belief?
If they say "no" how appealing is their God?
This question says it all, and there is no reponse for it, execpt the truth. think about it....You destroy the entire basis of their belief with one question they full well know the answer to. I have done it...It worked too, no arguement, I was even invited to attend the KH to talk more. I never had to resort to being arguementive, or abusive. Just a fresh prospect with many "interesting" questions.
Quit being scared, and ask some questions, then share your experiences with others, strengthing them. Maybe together we can save everyone on this planet, and we can all be happy, and EARN our freedom and happiness. Unless of course, you have more pressing issues to attend to, like the rich and powerful did at the bridegrooms feast. Then it will be up to the poor crackheads and sinners to try to save our asses. People we have condemned and judged, will become our savoirs, teachers, and judges. it looks like it has to be that way too. Just like he said.
Are you secure in the knowledge you are a saved person? Or are you evil, and in need of some mercy?
Do you believe you deserve payment for your many good deeds? or would you be content with mercy?
Do you want ANYONE to not make it to our next level? Have you judged them unfit? Do they deserve the truth? Or die in ignorance?

Well the hacker is programming the boss's new program and not his own. That is some consolation, but the old program must be destroyed, and explained. A scary thing indeed. It is like saying the old is now "wrong". Consolation is there was a reason behind it. If you could only know what is going through the hackers mind......

I believe there is an asswer that will allow all three of us to be happy. I will not give up until I find it. I cannot be happy if they are not. So why strive to please myself, and my desires? I have to find the solution to the problem. (that is a period)
Every problem has a solution, some are just harder to find than others.
I just rely on the hope of having alot of friends help me in the quest for the answer.

as I was saying...
If you reprogram a mans robots with a new program, which are you? A "rebel" or "liberator"? Guess it would depend on if you really had the permission from the owner, that nobody knew about. Including yourself.
Is it possible that everyone on this topic could judge this, and come up with a judgment of "right" or "wrong" I would like to have no disagreement if possible.
Is it possible to judge this without knowing the "hacker's" intentions or motives. Is he a thief trying to steal his masters robots? Or is he a hero trying to get his little brothers and sisters to his level?
