Just my opinion, but it seems that men are given more leeway because it is felt that the sexual urge is so strong they can't always control it. The woman is also blamed (think Potifer's wife) for seducing him.
They think women's urges aren't as strong urges and they should be able to control them better than men.
Also, if a woman doesn't cry, she is seen as unrepentant. Makes me wonder if there are actually men who cry at their JC.

No, I never thought I would attend high school, or finish elementary school for that matter. Never thought I would grow up, truth be told. Surely I would l marry in the new system and have a perfect husband. Well..........that didn't turn out well. Married a real jerk and stayed with him for 5 years even though he was abusive and cheated constantly. That marriage happened after I had been df'd. So they put my body out of the organization but kept my mind in.
I still panic from time to time. Is it just something you never get over?

i didn't catch where this happened but a kid was suspended for hugging a friend who had just lost a loved one.
the school had a no physical contact rule.. in birmingham, alabam, a girl was sent to alternative school for taking a midol.. did some reading on the web about it this morning.

Sending your kid to school seems alot like sending your kid to prison. Just reading the handbook my kids brought home at the beginning of the school year nearly made me roll my eyes out of my head.

i have now read the jan 15-08 about 3 times.
every time that i do, i get madder and madder.
here are some things that i find disturbing.

chatting with my hubby, he made yet another comment that made my blood boil.
he was explaining that his parents are going to mexico for the wedding of a family friend.
my hubby said he was like a brother to him, but coulnd't remember his name for a second (sad).
Man, don't get me started. My hubby used to work at a place where they would steal an ID, work a few weeks, get garnished or sued for child support under their fake ID---QUIT--and come back two days later with a new name.
Also, many have two ID's one for WIC or foodstamps and one for Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
