Accidentally Hit Animals with Cars ? A Problem in Rural areas-Experiences?
by flipper inso, hello folks.
i have wanted to start this thread for sometime because i was curious if it has happened to any of you often.
in the last 10 years or so it seemed that deer were attracted to my trucks like magnets .

ex-nj-jw,
ROTFL
I know this is a serious thread, I was just thinking of an emphatic denial of hitting a bird.
I have hit a skunk before, that was terrible. The power windows in my car were messed up and the window was about 1/4 down. Gross!!!
I hit the neighbor's dog. It hurt his paw and leg but he wasn't seriously injured. I loved on him so much that he came to visit me for weeks after that. I was crying really bad, cos I love dogs so much. It blew my mind that he would come visit the person who ran him over just to get petted.

Thanks
Model No for the HP is PS E337
Kodak is ZD710
She will mainly use the camera to post pics. I would think she wouldn't want to make enlargements. Just a standard size pic like you would take with a regular 35mm.
The Phillips MP3 No is SA3125/37. It looks like a really nice one.

Also, they both want MP3 players, any suggestions? I found a Phillips 2GB flash player with rechargable lithium battery for $70. I've bought Phillips products before and haven't been disappointed.
Where is the best (cheapest) place to shop either on-line or in real life?

There is so much pain...
by justhuman ini don't know why things in life happened...i don't know why i was born in the most destructive cults ever existed.
my childhood was so miserable...is not nice to see the other kids at your age celebrating xmas and birthdays and other holidays.
my whole world was somewhere between kindom hall and field service with my pioneers parents.. i hardly finished high school because i was supposed to live in the generation that by no means will pass way.

((((justhuman))))
Being born-in as well, I can relate. No, we can't get our childhoods back. Sometimes I think that is why some of us have so much trouble moving on. It's almost like we have arrested development.
Regret doesnt really help much. In ten years you could look back and regret spending all that time regretting! Does that make sense? It is so terrible that misplaced loyalties splits up families. In reality, if we are following Christ instead of a bunch of men that particular problem wouldn't even exist.
Talking about it helps tremendously. There are many here who understand exactly what you've been through--myself included.

The Black/African American Perspective on the Watchtower Organization
by XOCO ini was wondering if anybody has some input/suggestions on their feelings of blacks/a.a (no offences to ppl who are white and born in s.african or anything of that nature.
ok in xocos case i'm h***an/american (born in the us) and i grew up in a predominantly h****an kh so mostly black and few european ppl/decent that spoke the francophone lang (*hint, hint*) i've never knew what it was like to be in a predominantly caucasian kh (4 that 1 year i was living in the bible belt of fl,us).
it was different and ppl were mesmerized by the way i acted compared to other a.a. jw around their near by khs.

Watched TV evangelists for the first time today
by shopaholic ini was flipping through the channels while doing cardio and i decided to hear what a couple of these people had to say.
while i've determined that i'm agnostic, this one guy was pretty good...he was practical and funny.
he made the bible seem more like a good self-help book than a "book laws to be obeyed or else you'll die".

I haven't given Joyce Myer any money. I checked a couple of her books out of the library. When they start begging for money, I turn the channel.

That's sad, Snowbird. It's something that never made sense to me. Not only do you have to deal with prejudice from whitey, but you gotta deal with it "from the inside". Light skin, dark skin.....blah blah. It's crazy. Genes can pop out from many generations ago. I can remember when I was a teen all the boys wanted a "caramel skinned" girl. It never made sense to me. Why go by skin color when the heart is what matters. You can be beautiful on the outside and very UGLY on the inside.
Anyway, I always heard the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice. Right? Every skin tone has its own beauty.
