Isn't the speaker contradicting himself here, bythesea? Either the Org is led by perfect, infallible men, or it isn't, in which case the org is "earthly", tainted with error. You can't have the best of both world's: giving the org's representatives the glow celestial authority when demanding obedience, yet acknowledging their human imperfections when confronted with undeniable proof of theological bungles.
They are either one or the other.
