Can you say SATAN?!?!
by Uzzah inwhat is your stance on the devil, satan, demons etc?
personally i find the concept of the devil as presented in scripture to be purely symbolic of humankind's ability to chose to do good or evil.
the development of a moral compass unique to each person.. with many ancient beliefs, people tried to humanize concepts in order to better understand.

only those with true intrest in spiritual awareness will get what I said
I'm not sure which is worse, a blind follower feeling that they are in a position to judge another's spritual interest level, or that said blind follower sincerely believes that they are actually thinking critically.

I agree with ya nvr (big suprise I'm sure). Blind belief or fitting experiences to "prophecies" really proves nothing more than the indivuals' desire to believe. One can provide just as excellent of an argument for Greek or Roman mythological dieties as one can for the Christian version. And as you said, just saying something does not make it true.

Did you ever tell this to God....
by JH indear god, give me this or that, and i'll go back to the meetings ?

No, I find asking imaginary entities for favors a little ridiculous. That, and nothing said entity could do for me would be worth going back.

What has everyone done with your literature, now that you've left?
by momzcrazy ini have boxes of literature upstairs.
i was waiting for bookshelves to get built in our new house, but now i don't want to put them all up.
i have sentimental things, like ones that were my dad's.

Bigwilly, I like your idea. It is almost rifle season down here. I need practice, my freezer is getting low...
Momz, in case you're interested. The final condition was primarily due to a 300 Win Mag. Tho there were several 12ga shotgun rounds, 45 ACP, 38 Special and 22 LR ammo as well
Edited to add: I forgot that there were several rounds from an AK47 too.

Yes Gawd what ugly fucking ties. I still can't believe some of the stuff I wore. Fortunately the ugly ties make pretty decent tie downs for the bed
