I just know when I diet and lose weight that it makes it so I don't have to use insulin anymore. I use artificial sweetners in my coffee and buy drinks sweetened with Splenda. They need to do a better study.

Remember when assemblies were fun?
by Aphrodite ini just remembered when i was a kid and we would go to the assembly, it was fun because we got to buy new clothes and put extra effort into looking good.
when we would get there you could save your seats and even save some for your friends, then go off looking for them.. i used to love our circuit assembly because of the food.
it was at the assembly hall and there was a big kitchen, some of my favourite brothers worked in that kitchen, sometimes i was allowed to go in and help.

I thought that Jay-Z was going to have a stroke! He and Rihanna were nominated for the song "Umbrella" and Beyonce was nominated for one of her songs. He just looked a little nervous. I think he was happy that Winehouse won it! (whew)

But no, I do not see any talent with this one.
I have never watched Winehouse perform live, and I've just looked at one of her videos. I knew that I had to look at her when Cyndi Lauper said she loved her (Amy)(I love Cyndi Lauper and she looked good last night, too.) and that she would be performing live from London. Winehouse is quirky and got her own little thang going on! After all of the negative publicity, I was suprised that I liked her and the show. When she was in tears, after winning the award, I almost started crying!

I hated the conventions. They cost too much. They tired me out. They were boring to my kids. All the work was on me, the washing, ironing, packing and getting people ready in the mornings and bathing kids at night.
FHN, exactly! I got baptised when I was pregnant with the twins. I was so tired. After the twins were born, lugging them around all those people was torture! My arms would be burning. My husband couldn't carry the twins cause he's disabled. And then, the babies would get so tired and whiny; everyone's staring at me like "shut them up"!
I think I disassociated myself about 2 years later.

I love my little non-adjustable two-dollar one for making cucumber vinaigrette: simply slice up some cucumber paper-thin, and mix up your favorite oil-and-vinegar dressing (I like German-style mustard and fresh thyme in mine). Pile it all into some tupperware and leave it in the fridge for people to snack on. It's edible at once, and really flavorful in a couple hours.
Sounds wonderful and I do like the combination; but the combination doesn't like me (burp).

Amy Winehouse's performance was cool! She didn't expect to win the award. She seemed genuinely shocked and happy!
